Don't bother posting 'We don't give a shit about your thoughts', because I know some here are actual people who actually give a shit about actual other people.
Anyway, lately I've been thinking (hence the thread title).
I've looked around and thought about the meaning of things and shit. You know, the usual shit a 17-year old teenager does. This place is fucked up.
Society, I mean. It's fucked up. People screaming all kinds of ideals and utopic (Is that a word...?) idea's... Well, why the fuck isn't this world a Utopia yet?
It all doesn't make sense.
We all wage war, but we want world peace. We discriminate, but we'd all love to be treated equally.
It's all just fucking stupid.
And the thing that's the worst of all, is money. Money itself is the fucking biggest joke on this planet. I mean, I'll bet you that those materials they used to make cents are actaully more valuable than the paper they use to make 100-dollar bills.
And people are so limited because of it. If you're hungry but don't have a job or a house, you'll starve to death unless you eat trash.
Are people really less worth than a piece of paper?
So I've been thinking lately, if a world could exist without these problems. And I think, that this world just needs to destroy money and should all realize that we all want one common thing. To be happy. To have wonderful lives. Without fucking differnces in race or religion or amounts of money that wouold make us hate eachother.
TL;DR, This place is fucked up, we need to realize we all want one goal and live happily ever after.
So what do you think? Am I just some hippie that should suck it up and get on with my life or do you think I'm kinda right somewhere?
Also, I'm not baked.
These thoughts I've had lately

As long as we're human we are not infallible therefor war and greed will remain the same, however those themselves are concepts of man, concepts that are just as imperfect as we are.

So can't we solve them?
I mean, greed is easily solved when you destroy money and give everyone the exact same things, kinda like communism, only without the greedy dictator.

What makes those dictators greedy, as long as someone solely wants something no one else has that could be considered greedy.

So if everyone had the same thing, they wouldn't feel like they needed something no one else had, because they'd have it already. So greed wouldn't exist, right?
Or am I misreading your post?

You know, love, peace and abolition of greed are all noble thoughts and would be possible if we were all noble creatures.
But the only reason those systems exist is because man, in practice, cannot live by idealised standards. We're too smart (which in the long run translates to selfish) to look out for anything but our best interests even at the expense of other people's best interests. Just look at our history... its worse than the worst horror movies ever made.

Don't forget that by wanting there to be no greed your being greedy because you want something that others don't.

Without money, there would be no ambition to work extremely hard to get a job as a doctor or a lawyer or something, because you could live just as fine doing that, than if you worked at a fast food restaurant.

That's possible, however these aren't hypothetical we're discussing.

Oh I've thought this through already, even though it has some flaws.
Here's my plan. From the age of like 13 you could choose in which part of business you would want to work later on in your life, so like Military, Science or Industry or something like that. Then you would be educated towards this part of the job sector. Keep in mind that these children don't know about money and are only thaught to do one thing. They don't know how to do anything else. They are thaught that that is their life.
So they do it.

Why would a kid want to work as a doctor if they get the same reward as a fast food cook?
That and teaching children as you say is pretty much brain washing and defeats the purpose of being a modern human.

A child wouldn't think of it's reward, but what he would want to do. Many children say they want to fly planes or be a firefighter. Then let them be, as long as they're happy. Just teaching to be what they want isn't really brainwashing.

But there would no longer be proctologists, industrial workers and other jobs that people frequently do just for the money. No offence to any future-proctologists out there.

The one main flaw with it is this, "From the age of like 13 you could choose in which part of business you would want to work later on in your life" If society doesn't need you to be this yet you "want" to be in a particular occupation then you're greedy.
Besides You said they could join the military that won't solve any of the war problems, I kind of feel like this removes your humanity, and like I said as long as we're human we'll be greedy.
