Oh, boy. Looks like DICE has got a First Person Parkour game in the works for all of us.

Basically, the object is to get a Package from point A to point B without:
-falling and dying
-getting caught by the police
-getting shot by the police

Evidently, the environment will be sort of color coded to help the player know where to go and how to use obstacles to his/her advantage.

Guns will be available, but they'll slow you down. Limited use is advisable, since retaining your momentum will likely be the key to winning.

(Oh, and the Playable Character is a Woman.)

That sure looks like a woman's hand. :|

Really, though, looks cool. I'd like it more if the environment wasn't color coded, but whatever.

The hand gave it away? Not the ass, hair, or body shape? Good eye there, OGrilla.

I was being sarcastic. Are you one of the foreigners, or are you from an English-speaking country?

I say, you seem to be correct, good sir

Well, evidently, the environment will be so massive, and literally so explorable, I suppose color coding will be a necessity.

Also, maintaining momentum will be key, so when making quick descisions, it's good to have a bright object catch your eye.

From the article in Game Informer, it seems that there will be passages that lead to dead ends. These will be slightly darker, more shadowed than paths that have an exit. This could help a lot.
It would be a shame, mindlessly exploring to see which path takes you out.

I'm getting it.
Always wanted a Parkour game and this looks amazing.

The color co-ordinated is just as a sort of guide to players and ultimately it is up to them to decide their route.

Wow, this could turn out to be amazing or utter fail. All i'm wondering is, how are you going to do these things in first person?
Maybe i'm missing something, but, how the **** is this going to work?
It'll suprise me if they pull this off well.
Meh, i'll buy it anyway.

Female main character in first person, aye?
Do you think if you look down you'll see cleavege?

Thats what the red is for, to highlight where you are going.

You mean, how will the actual parkour work?
I suppose you'll have to be a good judge of your position and such. It's really sort of the same as doing it in real life.
Also, GI hinted at a slow-mo camera for extreme leaps to give you a good setup for jumps.

Sorry, i should've cleared that up.
I meant, the leaping, grabbing, climbing, the whole parkour thing.
It'd be awkward, but i guess if you get the concept of it, it could turn out great.

Any signs of a trailer?

None so far.
We have an interview, though.

Didn't they say that it wasn't a sandbox game? And that it wasn't so much "explore anywhere you want" as it was "go where we tell you to"? Either way its a first person parkour game so it is a must get for me..

They said it was a "get from point A to point B, but you pretty much choose between a wide variety of ways to get there."
