Exactly, Same rule applies to anything you do incorrectly.
Uh, no. If I claim that you need to eat to live, then if you eat incorrectly, you will die. You don't get the result you would expect if my claim was false, which would be that you didn't die.

In this instance, eating when your body tells you to, and stopping when the body feels uncomfortable...People that succeed in this type of thing dont eat for long periods of time because their body doesn't hunger for food.
And you would know that the people who have died trying this have failed to listen to their body how?

Thanks, I do mean in the womb, and the baby is recieving the nutrition from the food that mother ate...that means the baby is eating whatever the mother eats. When the baby leaves the womb they are given formula and milk to eat and drink, so it is a rather hardwired gift from the parent
Then explain why babies in the womb "believe" they need to eat to survive. Chances are, they don't even know that they do.

That is true. I basically define spirituality development as an activity that pushes a person towards an enhanced awareness of their present physical, emotional or mental state.
But that doesn't need to be connected to religion at all. Am I missing an earlier post by you where this is clear?

Also if you don't eat, where do you get your energy from? You mentioned "other ways" to get energy, but that sounds like generic "new age" misuse of the physical term energy.

I can trust you and your belief, why can't you trust mine? Especially when i've given examples. I don't care if you go into detail or not.

What I'm saying isn't belief, it's scientifically-validated fact.

None of your examples involve a peer-reviewed study of someone observed to go without food for extended periods of time. I know that because no one has EVER submitted to such an examination.

You're putting up independent, unverified claims that refute everything we know about physical biology. That's why I don't trust your beliefs, they have no basis on knowledge, fact or reality.

@Godmouth:"Uh, no. If I claim that you need to eat to live, then if you eat incorrectly, you will die. You don't get the result you would expect if my claim was false, which would be that you didn't die." Well of course. My original point was that the transition to breatharianism is a process, and that each person needs to listen to their own body to figure out if they should continue or not. If you do not adhere to this process, the desire to eat will still be there. If you do not listen to this bodily sign, you will surely die.

And you would know that the people who have died trying this have failed to listen to their body how? Woman Dies of Starvation While on an All-Sunlight Diet

Then explain why babies in the womb "believe" they need to eat to survive. Chances are, they don't even know that they do. The belief comes from the parents who believe they need to eat to live, the child adopts it's belief systems from the parents. Beliefs are shown through habits as well, not just thoughts.

But that doesn't need to be connected to religion at all. Am I missing an earlier post by you where this is clear? No, That is my point: Spirituality does NOT have to be connected to any type of religion.

"Also if you don't eat, where do you get your energy from? You mentioned "other ways" to get energy, but that sounds like generic "new age" misuse of the physical term energy." The title "New Age" is irrelevant. The two main ways I know of are Sun gazing and Self Sustainability(living off your own body's resources).

@Exilement:What I'm saying isn't belief, it's scientifically-validated fact. What i'm saying is scientifically validated, just follow the links provided or Google it.

None of your examples involve a peer-reviewed study of someone observed to go without food for extended periods of time. I know that because no one has EVER submitted to such an examination. Again, follow the links provided on the subject. you never placed a peer reviewed article stating that one needs to eat to survive either.

You're putting up independent, unverified claims that refute everything we know about physical biology. That's why I don't trust your beliefs, they have no basis on knowledge, fact or reality. Linky links. There is a plethora of knowledge on the subject.

Anyways, The bigger point is that Religion has become a plague. It offers no ability for a person to discover themselves or even experiment with new ideas. It can be demeaning, hateful, and instills fear in people to submit to higher authority. which is why almost every single institution cut from it's cloth has been totalitarian.

I started typing out an explanation on how glucose is necessary for energy transfer in every living cell, and how the body is incapable of getting essential nutrients/compounds from the air or sunlight.. and how insisting you can "live off your own body's resources" makes no sense when those resources are created from external sources in the first place, and quickly depleted if they're not replenished through food.

But, whatever. If you don't care to listen to facts then throwing more at you is a waste of both of our time. At the end of the day you look like a fool to everyone else, if you don't care enough to change that then neither do I.

Lol and I could go into detail about how every thing that has mass is made from molecules, and that molecules are made of light or energy frequencies. And insisting that those who are diligent and practice self awareness at a deep level just might be able to tap into certain frequencies that allow them to stay sustained. But whatever...

I care little about what others think of me. All I care about is self discovery.I have listened to your facts and presented some of my own as well, you just don't want to listen to mine.

However, it seems that we both agree that religion is quite unnecessary. To what extent we use our freedom from religious dogma to express ourselves is another issue entirely. :)

Your an idiot anubis. No offense. Us humans are unable to creat their own resources for their Body because WE ARE HETROTROPHS
Hetrotrophs are organisms that cannot, and will never be able to create their own resources.(usually multicellular organisms)

Unless we slowly evolve to become trees. Which is probably impossible unless we are affected by what we do. And that would take hundreds of thousands of years of mating in specification and all that stuff.

@R.D.:No offense taken. Ever heard of Circadian Rhythms?

I will not talk about this subject any longer. Do your own research...or not.

My main goal is to point out that Religion is not necessary for spiritual awareness or self discovery. All it takes is an open mind and a willingness to try something new.

"Everything that has mass is made from molecules"..... wow.

The definition of molecule: "an electrically neutral group of two or more atoms held together by covalent chemical bonds."

The definition of atom: "The atom is a basic unit of matter that consists of a dense central nucleus surrounded by a cloud of negatively charged electrons"

The definition of matter: "Matter is anything that occupies space and has rest mass"

In other words:

molecule = atoms

atoms = matter

matter = mass

The statement "Everything that has mass is made from molecules" is completely circular logic. "That which has mass is made of things that have mass". No shit, sherlock.

Quote from Anubis
molecules are made of light

Jesus fucking Christ. You JUST got done saying molecules have mass. Now you're saying molecules are made of "light". I just demonstrated how molecules = particles that have mass.

Light is made of photons, which are massless particles. Therefore, molecules cannot possibly be comprised of light.

Quote from Anubis
..or energy frequencies

There is no such thing as an "energy frequency".

Quote from Anubic

Again, this makes no sense. There is no alternative for proteins nor glucose. In the absence of one, or (especially) both, cells die. The human body is capable of synthesizing both proteins and glucose, but doing so requires energy, and both protein and glucose are compounds which provide the body with energy. Claiming that any sort of physical entity could literally create energy out of nothing is a violation of the laws of thermodynamics.

You are COMPLETELY incorrect, and I'm starting to get insulted by your apathetic attitude towards what I'm saying. Again, you sound as if I'm talking out of my ass, when it's you who has no idea what they're talking about.

You react to my arguments with absurd pseudoscience that makes absolutely no sense. You're spewing conjecture to the point of contradicting yourself within the same sentence. And the most frustrating part is how you talk to me like I'm the unenlightened one -- as if your ability to believe this bullshit somehow elevates your level of intelligence to a point that I can't even relate to, even though your beliefs are the result of blind ignorance.

I'm listening to your "facts". I just proved how they're incorrect. Either prove how my statements are incorrect, using something more than a stupid fucking documentary, or shut the fuck up and accept the fact that you have absolutely no ability to discuss this matter on any intellectual level.

Isn't it?

I posted that at the end of the day at work, stressed as all fuck. I really don't mean to sound so condescending, but it's difficult when you know someone's wrong and absolutely nothing you say gets through to them. I can't stand the thought of being seen as an idiot for posting things that are factually correct.

Yeah that reply about molecules being made out of light or energy frequencies and how you can "tap into frequencies" is the epitome of stock bullshit phrases that you hear from every other obviously ignorant person who claims to have discovered something new that somehow solves everything.

I'd say the correct response to someone who is this pretentious (and stupid) is to be condescending, at least when all else fails.
