I wouldn't go back in time, because anything I did would prevent me from being born. And even if I was born, I would be different, and hence I would never have gone back in time in the first place. Paradox.

I am really interested to see how much better spp was back then. I know I glanced across the forums once or twice (think I may have even made about 10 posts at one time)

More focused on animating, and the smartassery was actually clever and relevant, instead of coming across like a 16 year old who's trying really hard to emulate a /b/tard in every other post

Other than that.. I dunno if it was actually better. There were a lot more threads worth paying attention to than now, though. Aside from those fucking "l33t lists" or whatever the hell those were.

I remember even in early 2009 when I joined, it seemed more active than now. And the animation sections were even active (+ the annual spp tournament with hawk) I never figured out what happened to the portal. It was taken down right after I joined.
