[] Having Fun
Obviously the reason every animator on this forum is still on this forum is because he or she has fun with animating. I want you to understand this so that when you go into flash and you look at that empty template, you think about how much fun you will have turning it into something astonishing. If you don't have fun with animating then don't bother joining this collaboration because if you don't have fun with animating, you wont create something others would like to see. My goal for you throughout the time frame of this collaboration is not to worry about the outcome. If you have fun with the animating, the result will take care of itself!
[] Idea
CaM and I would like to recreate those old iTunes commercials where there is a flat colored background and a completely blacked out person dancing. Then in their ears obviously have the white headphones in them. The iPod will be in the template with which you need to animate your character dancing and all that. All we want is the silhouetted stick (or full body person if you so choose) either dancing or doing anything else melodically. [If you haven't seen these commercials click HERE to see what I'm talking about.]
What I mean is that you can't just have one stick fighting another stick you must add some type or rhythmic pattern to it. An example could be if you've seen BYE, the "Interpretative Dance" scene uses dance to kind of kick one guys ass with comedy.
In this collab you will choose a song, take a section from that song and create the dance or fight you want. ONLY USE A SECTION, NOT THE WHOLE SONG. Make sure the dance or fight scene syncs to the song!
If you have anything else other than the stick, the headphones, or the background in the animation, it must be either white or black [IE: Blood can be white]. You must animate headphones and they must be white.

The Template can be downloaded HERE. When you first open up the fla, you will see two folders. "Your Layers" and "BG". Open up the "BG" folder and click on the canvas. Pic a color for that canvas and then lock the layer called "BG Color". Then take your song snippet and add it to the "Song Snippet" layer. Then you may continue with your animation. [In the "Your Layers" folder is where you must put your animation and everything else by you.]

• Sounds - NO [Besides the music of course.]
• Symbols - Name EVERYTHING [Movieclips, Graphics, Buttons, Tweens, etc...] "Name"_"Symbol"
• Main Stick Color - #000000 [Any other sticks can be either #FFFFFF or #000000]
• VCam - NO
• Signature - NO

• You MUST have a COLORED background. [white, black, or any shade of gray is not allowed for the background]
• ANY other object you add into the animation MUST be white or black. [#000000 or #FFFFFF]
• You may add other sticks or moving, living things into the animation but once again, they must be either white or black.
• When you have finished your part, you must PM [Private Message] the .swf AND the .fla to either CaM or Yellow.
• You MUST upload your files to either TRuploader.com or Fileize.com.
• Do NOT add any other effects to the song [IE: Fading in, fading out, volume lowering, speed changing.] just leave the song as it is. If the song naturally fades in or out like you got it like that then leave it in but don't do anything else to the song but chop it up.
