Haha thanks, it's still alive man. We just got lot's of inactivity going on for our own reasons. Who knows when we'll get sucked back into the swing of things, maybe soon, maybe not. We do have a collab coming though, so look forward to it. Devil May Cry :)

it's still in the concept and rough draft stages. kixx has some awesome storyboards started and I've been working on a few enemy designs. so don't get your fap materials ready just yet.

Of course they are allowed, just be ready to receive an opinion back, which you never seem to take too well since your always so quick to defend yourself and point the finger at the other. It's become a pretty classic routine with you.

The big point about the "new Dante" is that most fans feel like there was no reason to change Dante. Give us our Devil May Cry 5, with new innovations, but keep our Dante! Dante was already a complete badass. We had 4 great games with him, we grew attached, of course we dislike the change. Take one of your favorite characters from a game or series and completely change his persona and vibe. They toned him down, gave him a overly-filthy mouth, yay he's an angsty teen now, hipster-punked him up and took away his ability to party :0. Not to mention they took away much of his zaniness which was a damn staple. Why give a western developer the reigns when DMC4 was freaking incredible? I'm not trying to completely discredit Ninja Theory's reiteration of the game. They did their best with an important title. The combat still looks slick as hell(since capcom was a part of it), and the presentation looks of great quality. But, I do not like the new Dante. I also feel like Capcom made this change for the wrong reasons. I was never a fan of the whole "Westernization" of games, especially in a series that's already rooted in japan. It takes the focus away from what the game was truly intended to be, and tries to make it something it's not. Their goal is to reach a wider market and try to broaden the scope of successful reception. Money, money, money. That's why capcoms whoring out DLC with everyone of their titles like it's going out of style. Money. It's about business, not about the game itself.

So, quick you asked a question, is it wrong to like the new Dante better than the old? No it's not wrong, but I disagree wholeheartedly.

Also on a side note: They are releasing a DMC3 skin for Dante as DLC in a week or so. It should semi-appease fans that want to keep the retro Dante look.
