I would go out on a limb and say that you shouldn't listen to this advice because it is bad. Sync, my old clan, got the vast majority of their members at the end of summer, and the following fall was the apex of our activity. Not a SINGLE PERSON was inactive MONTHS after the summer. And I've seen plenty of clans with members that were accepted in the summer that continued to be active.

You aren't very experienced as a clanleader yet, so I don't expect you to know all this.
