Abilities
Good hand-to-hand combat; mainly punches
Has two durable high-tech braces (no need to animate these) that store energy that he charges up or absorbs from around him
(because of this a lot of energy-based attacks are extremely weak against, if not beneficial to him)
Can release stored energy from braces and manipulate it in a variety of ways (beams, balls, enhanced punches... use your imagination :D)
Able to propel himself with the force from releasing energy.
Able to sense his surroundings with his sixth sense ("sees" the energy within objects around him)
Volatile energy-infused blood
Above average strength/endurance

Unchained mode
This mode is triggered when the braces somehow come off of Burst's hands. Energy uncontrollably streams out of his body in many forms causing destruction to anything around him. He also gains a protective aura which allows his to fly at high speeds. If Burst struggles extremely hard he can gain control of the energy for a short period of time but will eventually lose it. Unchained mode causes a lot of pain and if he says in it for too long he will die.

Story
A number of the people in Burst's had been mutated into a new species of human known as the homo energeia (commonly called Chargers). Chargers had a "sixth sense" which allowed them to generate, absorb, manipulate, and sense energy. Burst, who had a human father and an extremely powerful Charger mother, inherited these abilities. The problem was that the human body he inherited was not able to control the massive amounts of energy his Charger abilities were generating. Because of this, his uncle created two braces to be worn at all times that would suck the energy out of his system to store it away safely and regulate the energy circulating around his body.

Personality
Burst is hotheaded and illogical. He tends to get fired up easily and if he focuses on something, he becomes very passionate about it. This causes him to tunnel vision quite often. Although he doesn't really think about what he says and comes across as insensitive, Burst cares deeply about a very small group of friends.
