Is there anything left of the science and philosophy subforum? it still comes up as an option in searches, I was just wondering if there's any possible way the permissions could be changed so only sectional mods can view it, at least for a week or so. I put a ton of effort into a lot of my posts over there and wouldn't mind perusing what I posted.

Is it just me, or are there lots of stupid posts lately? Namely in the Chat Thread and Poll Central. I mean, there's never been much emphasis on high quality, but it seems like what quality they did have has been steadily not existing.

just the other day we were talking about politics in the chat thread. aside from the last few days with mike's antics I haven't noticed any kind of trend, and with that they're just having fun. not everything has to be about quality.

I mean, that's what we do with everyone right?. There are quite a few members here that deserve a permaban straigt up in their ass cus they won't ever change and don't actually contribute to the forum in any way. This is just another of those guys we gotta deal with until they hit the bottom.

Fair enough. I suppose just giving him permanent infractions will resolve the issue one way or another. That said, I don't think we should jump to permaban with that as the case.

He's not really breaking any rules. He's like Harvie in a sense, he's just saying stupid shit.
As far as the SE section goes, then asking to be a mod might be considered spam considering how much he's pestering about it.

Not permanent infractions either. Just normal ones, I don't really see a problem with the kid.
