The Server

This server is a survival server. You will not be allowed to spawn items. There are a few mods that help with adminship and add a little bit of fun, otherwise it's relatively vanilla. By default there is no PvP, however you are able to toggle your own PvP on or off, which will allow you to do battle with other people who have PvP turned on (see Commands section below).

We also employ a protection system for your personal stuff. It allows you to do things like lock doors, chests, furnaces, dispensers, etc. so that no one can steal your items.

Commands

-- General --
/help - Displays a help menu showing which commands you can use
/list - Show online players

-- Block Protection --
/lwc - Brings up the Lightweight Chest Protection menu, showing you more available commands for the block protection system
/cprivate - Lets you set certain blocks (chests, doors, etc.) as private only to you. Click the block after typing this command
/cpassword - Lets you password protect certain blocks so that you can have them private, but also give access.
/cremove - Removes a protection

-- PvP --
/pvp - Lets you set your personal PvP status. If PvP is on, you can be attacked only by other players who also have PvP enabled. Players who do not will not be able to attack you.


The Rules

- No griefing
- No stealing
- No noob towers¹
- If you're gonna chop trees, try not to leave floating green UFOs
- Respect other players
- Respect the admins
- Do not encroach on other players claimed territory²
- If we develop a main area, keep to the aesthetics laid out by the founders
- No mega builds unless pre-approved³

1. Noob towers are towers that only consist of one block and go up so that the player can get a better view. I don't mind if these are made temporarily, but destroy them when you're done. I don't like seeing that crap all over the place.
2. Encroach basically means to intrude, if it's not clear. Respect other players and their land. Disputes can be solved by an admin.
3. Mega-Builds means anything that requires a vast amount of space. Use common sense with this, I don't mind people building towns, obviously, but if you're going to recreate the Pantheon in 1:1 detail, you find a spot and get approval first. Same goes for space needed for redstone projects.

How to Join

This is a whitelist only server. I have had problems in the past with some players being disrespectful, and I don't trust leaving the server open. So leave your Minecraft name in this thread and I'll whitelist you ASAP. Breaking any rules will result in you being removed from the whitelist.

Note: I don't immediately whitelist people, so be patient.

If you'd like a feature added let me know, most of the time I'm willing to accommodate. Once the server gets going we'll have a map on this thread you can look at.
