Has someone ever trolled, or criticized you so perfectly well, that you just couldn't keep your mind off their comment.

THIS IS NOT A PERSONAL ATTACK THREAD.

If someone did that to someone, surely they'd be trolling themselves?

It's just not possible.

No. I'd just brush it off, log out of that site, and go on Facebook/go out.

Then again, I haven't been insulted by Zed yet. That might keep me up at night :(

There was one time in a comments section I said something incorrect and someone called me on it. I hadn't realised I was wrong so I defended myself and acted kinda arrogant as I did it. Then five minutes later I realised he was right and I felt bad. Does that count?

i'm not good at ignoring things, or have some sort of pride issue, so when I get in an argument, I can't let it go until it's settled in some way. Even if it starts at 11:00PM where I am, and ends up lasting hours... which kind of fucks up the next day for me when I have to get up early.

Isn't cyberbullying different from criticism, I mean I thought one was someone trying to get someone else to kill themselves and the other was someone pointing out mistakes made by the person getting the criticism.

...?

People don't bully people to make them kill themselves, they do it just to bother them. However, your premise overall is accurate.

yes, actually
I believe it was jombo who started it back in the "why you chose your avatar" discussion back in the fluidanims forum.
i simply said why i chose my avatar, idk if jombo was joking or not, but if felt real offended when 2 more trolls backed him up on it.
the discussion went like this:
Image
GroundXero:because the green flames and close up action make it look cool.
Jombo:I like extremely disfigured heads too GroundXero
GroundXero:in what way is my pic disfigured? if you were referring to it.
Garbear:Is this a trick question?
Fizzysoda:LOL Garbear, maybe maybe it is. Or maybe were GroundXero lives every one has adult Plagiocephaly (flat head syndrome).
GroundXero: ok, now im starting to get offended.

me being easily offended, knowing this came from nowhere, it took it seriously. they were just probably trying to troll, but y'know, its topic related and i thought id share.

Hmmmmm....

That's a big generalization...

and no I can take anything. If this was 3 years ago it would get me mad. But now, I just slip on a pair of socks and sandals and walk around the forum.
