yeah I'm finally getting to know max a bit better. so my next step is to fiddle with lightning and such. here's a little table scene.

hmm, not bad.
I think the tablecloth needs more depth to the texturing, and I dislike the wood texture of the floor and chair. They look to pale and bland.
Also, the floor needs a shine, since wood floors are coated with a shiny substance to prevent water absorbtion.

The toast and plate look great.
The top of the glass looks odd. Possibly due to the wierd top edge and black coloring.
The walls look good.

I like it, especially the shadow of the glass, The bread, and the plate.
The floor looks as if it rises. Not too keen on the window, either.

Really good job though. Keep it up.

Ruins the whole thing, in my opinion.

The glass and toast were perfect. Walls look warped though and like said earlier, wood texture needs work.

I think it looks great and the bread looks awesome but it does look kinda soggy

the part of the floor with the light on it is the only problem i have with this picture. In my eyes its B-E-A-utiful mate. :>
