I don't agree. We alllll know where the literature section is. And those who don't will see our threads anyways with the "What's New?" button.

It's not just about everyone who's already here, but also anyone who doesn't frequent this site too often. Or any newcomers for that matter. They'll just see animation based things and probably will fail to even realize a writing portion exists.

I'm in because I like reading my name on any front page.

if they're interested they'll look into it. If it's in a more appealing spot and they're interested you might get 1 or 2 new posters, but realistically how much attention the forum gets is directly correlated to the interest. Not many people go to an flash animation, art, and social website to discuss literature. It sucks but I doubt this will make much difference :/

Well see you're correct there Kitsune. We're all aware the main reason why anyone would come to this place is because it's a Stick Animation forum. But see what I'm getting at is when they arrive they see all the animation-related sections. So they scroll down the front page a little to see what else this place has to offer and suddenly they see the Off-Topic section. A majority of those people will simply avoid that. After all they only came here for the creativity. But see Literature is creativity. And I think it makes more sense for it to be in the "Show-Off" section rather than the Off-Topic section. After all think how co-operative this place would grow if an animator actually spotted an interesting story by one of the writers on this forum and wanted to animate it himself? That's good harmony and chemistry right there.

That would actually be pretty cool.
That said, it would take a hell of a lot of time.

Animations take a long time to make regardless. Plus it'd be nice to see a change from the constant "protagonist was experimented with and now has super powers and is angry" scenario.

im in because moving the literature section to the -Show Off- section is where it should be, I think it wouldn't be a big problem.
When I saw literature in the -off topic- section I thought it was only to talk about literature, maybe that was the main idea in the beginning and that's why it is in the off topics along with the music, movies and videogames because this topics are there just to talk about them, if you want to post a song or a videogame you made you go to the -community original- section and well...I never saw a movie from the community, people have adopted the literature section as a place where they can show off their literary creations because of the lack of a section for this in the same category as community animations, music and videogames

We should have different sections for discussing published literature and presenting our own. Like leaving the discussions for published literature in the off-topic section, but moving SPP literature to the Show Off section.

This is already gonna happen soon anyway. Writers lounge with separate sections for dedicated reasons and such are coming I belief once stone has the chance.
