I intended to write a full review but then I didn't do that. I like this animation a lot and will at some point review it but yeah for now all I can say is that when this blasts my speakers while I'm playing moderately loud music then it sucks when my speakers start to fizzle after.

seemed very good to me! and my speakers were down pretty low in the first place so no problems there :D!

I looked at your speed drawing and I gotta say I'm a fan of your process. You have a lot of promise as an animator. The only thing I'd be concerned with if I was you is paying less attention to unimportant details such as the hair and folding clothes, but you gestured the scene and understand the forms of your figures, so it's no big deal. I'd put more time into facial construction and expression and fine tuning the movements. The other thing is I'd just tone down the color for those shells. Mute them or darken them or something because they're a little distracting, and in something really short, sweet and to the point, anything distracting can easily kill the flow for some viewers. I know it did for me the first few times i watched it. After seeing this and watching your speed animation video I'd follow your tumblr :P.

Another thing is that I'd like to have critiqued the rough animation for this while you were still playing around with the poses and such. Critiquing cleaned animation with clothing and hair is kind of impossible, because it's already tied down. For now most of what I can say is 'good job add some faces.'

The speed drawing thing could even act like a tutorial and help a few people. Awesome stuff.

Its good and the characters stay relatively constant but if you slow it down its more enjoyable to watch for the viewer, and move likes the spin are more noticeable on the first watch.

Hahahaha, you are hilarious in your speed animation video. You get distracted so easily lol. Anyways, great stuff man, maybe work on keeping your volumes though, her arm got pretty thin at times.
