I am not surprised in the slightest to find that someone in control of Uganda is a bad person.

The whole purpose is to raise awareness.. if we are being realistic it has already worked. Come April 20th when the news picks up the story we can all hit you on the back of the head for your pessimism.

try to find/kill Kony

Just killing Kony will not be enough of the punishment for him, IMHO.

Honestly, I had no idea about this stuff until I saw the video. I'm willing to bet that there's a whole bunch of people like me who are thinking the same thing.

All else aside, it's doing a brilliant job raising awareness.

millions of views on youtube, more then 1 million likes on facebook, 46,682,919 tweets on twitter.
Captain cook, he started out with an unrealistic promise and got a letter from obama. I don't know but I think that's a pretty good achievement.

Obama has appeared on game shows too. Doesn't mean anything.

And come on, what do oyu honestly think will happen?

"Oh man, they really hate me now! I guess I'll just turn myself in!"

Invisible children is corrupt and the whole purpose of the mission is dumb. have fun buying bracelets for an organization that donate's its profits to an army just as despicable as the one its fighting.

I don't support invisible children. I support what they are trying to achieve. Lots of people in my class are going all "OMFG KONY IS OUT THER GOTTAH KKILL EM!"
I asked them why they cared about these people in a half the world away. they said, "they CHILDREN DEAD!" I replied with "some one dies every 60 seconds, why do you care about them only" the bell rang and I never got my answer.

The leader of the organization looks pretty young and I'm sure his intentions are in the right place, he just doesn't understand how delicate the situation is. The SPLA is hardly "just as despicable" as the LRA.

What he's doing is the equivalent of having a hostage situation within a bank and just running straight into the bank guns-blazing completely disregarding the lives of the hostages in an mislead altruistic crusade trying to kill the lead bank robber.

The best course of action would be a more diplomatic one involving peace talks and negotiations.

HAHAH HAHAHA

The guy has no intentions of actually fighting.
31% of the income (2.7 million) goes to the Ugandan military. 1.2 million actually goes to the founders for "travel costs".

This whole thing is a scam, and within a month, it'll all be forgotten.

Isn't it funny that they include a package you have to pay for? Shit, you'd think that they'd at least give you a reach around when they're fucking you in the ass this hard.
