*I had originally posted this in Nebula of Thoughts group, but barely anyone goes there, so I'm restarting the thread here.

I enjoy figuring out ciphers and making people decipher messages, so I've come up with a question and an encrypted message that has the answer. I'll make more challenges like this later. There are three parts to this message, each in a different cypher. For this first challenge, I'll give the cyphers as you go along, but after this I'm going to make things hard. The first person to correctly answer my question gets congrats and a symbolic pat on the back. Here's the question:

What is my dog's name?

*This is hexadecimal, by the way.

I don't fully understand Ciphers and how to actually decode them. Any basic steps on how to? [Don't tell me Google cause I ain't that stupid. I'm just lazy. :I]

Well, by using three random decoders on Google, I have concluded that your dogs name is Jiffy

The easiest way I can think of is to find a website that can translate hexadecimal to text. After you do that, some of the message will be deciphered and some will not. The deciphered part will tell what encryption the rest of the message is in, and so on until you figure out my dog's name. Good luck!

I thought cyphers had to have a key to make it possible

Good job, SmallBoy02. But, now, it gets even harder. If you're up to it, here's another challenge.

What is my favorite book series?

This is madness

I don't know yours. But try and solve mine. This is a number, what number is it.

Clue: This is not conventional binary.

Yes no one will figure out my code mwaha.

It's binary encoded decimal btw. Very useful for encoding binary into the signals required to properly drive seven segment displays in digital clocks.
