I've not animated any sort of collab/real part of anything for over a year.

But Lucas was a good friend to me, and a great inspiration and help for my Blender work.

For this reason I will animate my part tomorrow.

RIP Lucas, you will be remembered. Losing someone is tragic, whether you know them in real life or only over the internet.

I would like to make a note for Luccas, too.

Luccas, you have truly inspired us into 3D animating. Your Blender anims is truly remarkable! The first time I tried it, it was frustrating, but you make it so easy! I envy you in a good way, Luccas. You're an amazing animator, and a friend to FA/SP. We will dearly miss you. Perhaps one night I might battle you in my dreams, but for now, rest in peace, friend. ~Shadowkirby

I shouldn't have to say this because I hope to God everyone here as had the pleasure of being in a collaboration, but you will more than likely have to break apart any text and make sure to name your symbols with your name in the symbol name.
That way stone doesn't have to deal with hundreds of "replace this object" requests and end up renaming all of the symbols himself. I don't recall reading anything about doing either one of these in the first post.

What about signing the animation such as putting your username in the upper right corner or something?

Edit: I see where you went ahead and added that in there. Nevermind then.

Is there a set point where our sticks should walk from? I'm just gonna have mine start off screen and walk In If that's ok.

My text:
Luccasbode,
I know we didn't know each other all that well, but I still feel like you impacted my life on a major scale. Your passion for what you did inspired all of us, and your unique skill and style encouraged others to try new things. I was in a major rut around last August, a major case of animator's block. I was considering giving up animating after working at it for six years and getting nowhere. Still, of course when September rolled around I just had to watch all of the 4 Day entries.
And that's when I saw Disbalanced. It.....It inspired me, to say the least. It helped me get back on my feet, and start animating again. For this source of inspiration, I am truly thankful.
I wish I had been closer to you, you seemed like a great person. I regret this, and i likely always will.
So, from one animator to another....one person to another:
Rest in Peace, my friend. May your family and friends prosper as you watch over them from heaven.
~darkdude53

I'd really appreciate if you'd use "darkdude53" instead of "Shensurei", I just think it would be more appropriate seeing as it was the name he recognized me as the few times we talked.

oh yeah- maybe if we are spaced out enough we can have them hover over our heads, or if we come in one by one there can be a starwars style scroll of the names in a margin as we appear.

Yeah, I wasn't very clear about this. Your character can start anywhere from the left and walk to the right to the memorial.
