Hey guys. Im new to Stickpage after the merge with Fluidanims. I was at first disapointed to here that the sites would be merging, knowing that things wouldn't be the same again. But I soon realized that its a good thing, and who knows what good can come out of it. One thing I'm concerned is a portal. If you don't know what I'm taling about, its a section where the list of where animations are submitted, with the newest ones at the top. All I see on stickpage are sections of fights and games with only popular animations. Where can I find animations from random users or newbies or a place to submit animations? Im kinda lost without a portal, one thing stickpage lacks. Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

Jeff is currently working on the New stickpage portal, part of why we merged with stickpage in the first place.

I think it's crazyjay and thesaw who's working on the portal.

Stone and Jeff said a portal will be out, but it's not certain when.

There is a section called "community animations" under "show off" here in the forums where people post links to their animations.

Yep, but I think it will still be a while, no one has even mentioned it, it'll be great to see SPP back but I hope it'll be in my lifetime :rolleyes:

Yeah I'm not working on anything to do with stickpage programming wise. If I was the portal would have been released already.

From my experience, any project involving Crazy Jay usually takes at least a year longer than expected. It's terrible.

I wonder what it's gonna look like...

Last I heard, there was no news on the portal. Which is really quite a shame, because there isn't really much point to bringing FA members to drive forward the website with animations and a more active animating community, without a portal.

If there's a way we can ctrl+c, ctrl+v FA's portal, spruce it up with SP's colours and graphics, you all know I wholeheartedly endorse the idea.

Everyday we've got everyone here without a portal, is a day that people could be leaving to another place with a portal

This is true, but the portal is now three years past when we were told it would be back.

This. But I've learned to accept the fact that CJ might be a very busy man, and we might be looking at him in the wrong way.
