N64: Mario. Pretty balanced guy, not hard to use. Not many other choices here since there weren't too many characters.
Melee: Roy. He's Marth, but I actually played his GBA Game, so I used him instead.
Brawl: Marth, solely for his awesome counter attack. Actually, all his special moves are pretty useful.

N64: Mario, i like him and his specials are good
Melee: i never played it...
Brawl: Mr Game & Watch, his attacks are very strong and he is funny

I only play Melee, but my favorite characters are Mr. Game & Watch, Pikachu, Link, Fox, Ness, Kirby, Samus, and Mario.
