Guys, guys, guys, real talk. Second season of RWBY just started, and I loved it... So yeah, I think I'm going to go ahead and say that RWBY is my guilty pleasure IF we're going to consider it an anime, which I suppose most wont. But seriously, 5 minute long food fight, whats not to love? Actually don't answer that, I already know the answer...
It's really only a 102 episodes... After that they are only 10 mins of anime the other 15 mins is all bs worth skipping... Either way it's just something you start and keep going to power through episodes
Everything over 26 episodes seems like a massive commitment to me, I just don't have the time lol, I remember putting off Monster for about a year because it was so long and I suppose it's the reason I wont watch LoTGH.
Also that depends on which Dirty Pair you mean. There are 3 shows, the original 1985 show, the 1987 OVA seires or Dirty Pair Flash. I like all of them, personally. 2 of them have dubs, and the OVA series had some kind of boring sounding voice acting, and I haven't really found that many people who've watched it so I couldn't give you the general opinion. The animation on the 1985 anime is weird and awkward looking at times, but I got used to it pretty fast.
All the Dirty Pairs were some of the first anime I'd ever watched, so I'm probably just looking through rose-tinted glasses.
I might watch Dirty Pair when my next set of holidays come around, which would be best to start off with? I'm thinking I might as well just start at the start and watch the original series, the OVAs, and then Flash, or is anything gained by watching Flash first seeing as it's an alternative setting?
For years I never really followed any popular mainstream anime, or any new ones when they were just made. I usually just browsed through lists and thumbnails and just watched whatever looked promising or decent. And throughout that I've watched countless anime, but a lot of them are really bad and I can never find anyone agreeing with me since a lot of them are so unheard of. Lol.
What would your top 5 "underground" anime be? But that seems like a pretty hit and miss way of finding new shows, then again, it can't be any worse than gambling on airing shows. Which is an awesome segue into...
Fuck it, jellyfish don't watch Tokyo Ghoul, read it instead.
To late, I started it, so now I have to finish it unless I get to busy with uni and drop it because of time constraints.
If it really bombs like you think it will I might even read the manga afterward when I have time, and we can have a nice talk about how 'the manga and anime are different'.
