Anyone watched Claymore? The last time I was hoping so badly for a protagonist to die was F/SN:UBW.

I fucking hated Raki, man. This fucking character raised so much red flags and sounded many alarms the fucking moment he first talked to Clare. Fucking seriously. I was counting the seconds of his air-time.

That ending, uuuggghhhh. It left in a weird place where there could still be places for the story to go, but then there won't be season two so they just took away any reason to expound on anything.

It was enjoyable for the most part but the mixture of Raki, a bunch of unexplained shit, sudden powerups that had poor explanation, and just the number of things that I think they could have utilized better makes me not want to say it's good. It's not bad either, I'll probably recommend it to the guy that was asking about gore anime and shit earlier, but I just think it could have been way better.

horror gore anime mostly, anything very violent

thanks for those suggestions

I'd suggest berserk (If it's anything like the manga) and gantz. If you read manga, then berserk, gantz and dorohedoro.

I never watched the anime (I watched like the first few episodes or so), but the actual manga has about 155 chapters. I can't imagine how they condensed it.

Either way, I don't think everyone's problems with Raki gets solved by the manga, but the truth is he doesn't get too much screen time in the manga, so I guess that's a plus? I really liked reading it a long time ago, and when I read it now I still enjoy a lot. Maybe it's just an issue from switching to medium to medium.

IIRC they didn't condense it, they caught up with the manga and instead made an alternate ending (not sure though, I think I read it somewhere). Not sure why they added a lot of stuff in the anime that they knew they wouldn't be able to cover, but eh.

Also, I said in the past something about Toradora being not good.

I rewatched it. Yep, I was wrong. The only thing I got right was the fact that Ami is best grill.

Please rehost all images on imgur. Kissanime does this thing with its direct images where it needs to load first from their website before you can view it somewhere else. I couldn't see any of the images a while ago so I copied and pasted one of the links and opened it manually and now all the images load for me.

Also the fact that you recommended Zetsuen no Tempest, DanMachi and Owari no Seraph makes me skeptical of your taste, because those shows are all pretty subpar

I also find it weird how he copied from someone else the descriptions of shows he recommends. If you recommend something, wouldn't you convince someone else to watch it by telling that person how you personally felt about it? Or, you know, just don't include descriptions if you're going to copy all of them to begin with?

Well, I was just scrolling through my list and picking out some of my most recent watches.

also i don't see why you think DanMachi was subpar, i thought it was pretty good.
Owari no seraph wasn't the best but it wasn't that bad so i didn't see any reason not to include it.
and zetsuen no tempest is the only anime I have that starts with Z, and it wasn't that bad..

copying the descriptions was quicker. I could write them myself but i would write pretty much the same stuff so i didn't see any point.

DanMachi wasn't very good, it was typical shonen with an abundance of audience pandering(it wasn't really fanservice) with all the hestia stuff. The plot is a basic throwaway "this guy sucks but he has so much potential!" story and the characters are so one dimensional
