After a long anime viewing hiatus I returned to see Tokyo Ghoul. And might I say that it is one of the most dissapointing anime series I've seen so far. I'll explain why in this spoiler which will have spoilers from the animes ''tokyo ghoul'' and ''parasyte the maxim'', so you have been warned.

To sum up, the show wasn't paced well and couldn't get its priorities straight with its characters and arcs. The protagonist was too unlikeable for me to watch.

Well I decided to watch the second half of DRRRx2 and man I'm really bad at watching this show. A whole lot of things are happening, it's as if every single one of them are red herrings of each other. It becomes hard to care about any of the characters or the plot because it's so frustrating to even try to keep up.

It's also kind of disappointing that the mystery left by the first half wasn't actually answered, and the things that you thought would happen didn't happen.

Even so it's good timekiller so I'll probably watch next season anyway.

Finished The Seven Deadly Sins on Netflix last night. I really enjoyed it. I haven't read the manga's but I found out they left some stuff out and changed some things, but that wasn't surprising. I was happy to see that they're going to do a season two sometime this year. That would be fantastic.

This is definitely the anime with the most promise this season IMO. I just hope it doesn't become another Charlotte.

Dunno what Charlotte was like, but I've been keeping up to date with the Boku Dake ga Inai Machi manga so far, and it's fantastic. The main issue is that it isn't finished yet, so we're probably going to get a pretty meh ending for the anime.

This is pretty much my exact list but I think I've got Assassination Classroom and Bubuki Buranki on mine too. That said I'd be cool with dropping nearly every one of them but Boku Dake ga Inai Machi.

Hai to Gensou no Grimgar has me a bit worried seeing as they spent a quarter of the first eps talking about their female characters boobs instead of doing anything interesting, but hopefully there isn't much to worry about.

Dimension W could be really cool or a massive flop, but the world and characters seem neat, but the obligatory robot girl fan service is going to get old fast.

I'm not sure if I want to watch Ajin weekly or wait for it to be finished and marathon it. Anime doesn't have a great history of doing horror well.

And Dagashi Kashi is my obligatory slice of life comedy for this season, but probs the one I'm least attached to.

Coming from the manga, Ajin isn't really horror at all. It's more like a supernatural action thriller. It's also very good, but it also isn't finished, so idk how that'll go.

Bubuki Buranki

googles it

I just finished watching Oregairu. The main character's tsukkomi is this series' saving grace.

I enjoyed it for the most part. The 'little sis in bathing suit' and shit like that it's annoying, not to mention the stereotypical fujoshi BS, etc.
