OK guys here is my tryout...It is'nt that good cuz I'm just a beginer so here it is: http://www.fileize.com/files/d3dd5bd7/a7a/Workshop_tryout.swf

you need 3 pieces of art to try out, and judging by the quality of this art, you wouldn't get in anyway. You need more practice

Despite my say is unimportant, I would have to say no on this.
Your work as a little too simple, also:

To tryout, you MUST show us at least 3 different arts you have accomplished, supply us with your preferred art program, and give us your specialty.

EDIT: I made this shit, lol

Are those wings? can't tell, also the volcano looks like a red barnacle. The far hand has the thumb on the wrong side, which could easily be fixed by making the palm line stretch past the thumb. The close hand's knuckles are to close to being lined-up. The smoke looks okay.

The thumb is a bit awkwardly placed, it should be on the top of his knuckles, not in front of them (I tried it just now and it's almost physically impossible XD ) Pretty cool none the less. :)

Yeah, about the hands, I cannot draw hands correctly, no matter what, which is why I try avoiding to draw them in some cases, because they ruin the rest of the drawing for me. :I

Well, I'd continue to work on them and try to get better at them, cause it'll make your art that much cooler if you can draw hands! Just look at your own hand, or use tutorials, and practice drawing hands until you're sick of 'em.

@balistiik Sweet monthies dude, love the triumph expression!

Btw, just like to know what the verdict of my tryout was, if there has been one yet, so I can either start on these monthlies or... not start on these monthlies. XD

May be easy to most people, but drawing hands is what makes me not want to draw at all, I can never get the shapes down, looking at 100's of tutorials hasn't helped, and I've tried looking at my own in poses, it always ends up looking completely messed up.
This has been going on for years, it's just something I've never been able to draw.

Cres, you don't HAVE to draw hands, you know, most of the time, you're drawing stick-figures, who generally don't have hands, so if you can't draw them, just keep trying until you get it right, or simply don't draw them at all. You're trying too hard to make your drawing on par with the work here.
