As the title say, I want to know if there's some way in Flash cS 5.5 to import animations and/or other things in Flash 8 format.
I want to participate from the elevator collab(link), but in the topic it says to import in Flash 8 format, but it says that any format of flash is accept too.
So, help-me!

I don't believe there is a way.
I think the lowest Cs5.5 can go to is Cs3.
You can convert it to a Cs3 flash file, then have someone with Cs3 down-convert it into a flash 8 fla.
But that's the only way I know of.

Deive, now travis has cs 5.5 so no problem, did you read the front page?

Yes, I read. But I got a little confused because it says "ANY FORMAT OF FLASH IS ACCEPTED" and after it says "BE SURE TO EXPORT IN FLASH 8 FORMAT", and as I don't use Flash for much time I got confused.
So, I can send it in Flash CS 5 format, right?

I'm starting to think a good portion of those posts are considered spam.
Anyways, back on topic.
It's great that you don't have to do this anymore.
But yeah, for future reference you can just find someone with a lower version of flash and have them down-convert the .fla for you. :)
