Issac Stewart was an ordinary man who worked as a mechanic, taking profession in creating weapons. He lived a fairly happy life, living with his wife and daughter. However, this peace would not last...
The date was December 18, 1996. The night Issac came home from work, he saw, to his horror, his wife dead and his 3 year old daughter missing. When the police came, they noticed that Mrs. Stewart had been ripped apart by none other than one of Issac's weapons: the Beam Katana ML-0013 "Stygian", a weapon he neither finished, nor sold. He knew he had been framed, but the jury did not believe his story. Sentenced to the death penalty, he was almost certain that his story was over. This, however, was not the case... it had just begun.
In the corrupt city where he lived, the punishment for murder by custom weapon was to be killed by another creation of the offender. Unluckily for the executioner, the weapon they chose to use was the ML-0847 "Kelvin" - a failed attempt at creating a beam katana that could slash through dark matter. The executioner was killed by a malfunction in the weapon, making an outburst of deadly positive energy. Seeing his chance of escape, Issac grabbed the weapon and ran, careful not to turn it on. When he made it back to his lab, he found it to be raided of all of his creations, except one: a pistol given by his grandfather, modified to shoot electrified bullets. Using what little time and resources he had, he made the katana more stable (though it was still far from complete), loaded the gun and ventured out to clear his name.
Meanwhile, there existed an Organization known as H. U. N. T. E. R. (nobody knows what it stands for) These individuals worked in the shadows, examining life and Technology in hopes of creating the ultimate living being through splicing DNA. They hired Assassins to capture or kill certain people, presumably to be experimented on or simply gotten out of the way.
An assassin working under this Organization, code named MISTIX, was sent on a mission to kidnap Issac in hopes of harnessing his intelligence in weapons and technology. In an odd turn of events, Issac defeated Mistix in battle. Rather than working against his will, he joined H. U. N. T. E. R. under the new code name, BLITZ. Through surgery, Blitz was given super-human reflexes and the ability to quickly adapt and learn the weakness of nearly any enemy. Soon, Blitz and Mistix became friends, fighting alongside each other. Under a nameless leader, Mistix, Blitz and a few other assassins worked as one whole fighting force, destroying whatever appeared against them. Issac kept looking as he fought... through his battles and travels throughout the city...
he looked for his daughter. 3 years had passed, and still he could not find her.
Mistix was the first to find out H. U. N. T. E. R.'s truly terrible self. The date was August 7, 1999. Mistix went missing, and in his place a note:
I'm leaving HUNTER. Had I known how cruel you demons were, I would have never joined you. Goodbye... and good riddance.
Blitz was given an urgent assassination mission: Terminate Mistix at all costs. Reluctant, but determined, he found him...
and killed him.
Mistix, with his dying breath, told Blitz why he had left. The people that they were fighting against... they were innocent civilians who had all been unlucky enough to hold the exact type of gene H. U. N. T. E. R. was looking for. Mistix found out the mistake he had done, and wanted to undo the damage. But, alas, he could not redeem himself. He told Issac the answer to his most bitter mystery: His daughter... H. U. N. T. E. R. had her. She had the rare gene that they were looking for, and she was the perfect age and set of DNA for them to do their experiments on.
H. U. N. T. E. R. kidnapped Maria Stewart. Over the past 3 years, they have done operation after operation to turn her into the ultimate being. Soon, she would become the literal definition of a death machine.
Blitz left Mistix where he lay, but now knew what he had to do.
With the ML-0847 "Kelvin" Beam Katana in one hand, a gun passed down through generations in the other, and a fierce determination in his heart, Issac Stewart left the grave of his friend to undo the mistakes he had made.
