The Chaos side currently costs money ($3.99 USD per month) which also gives you 1000 empire coins right away and 300 per month.
Weather it will cost money in the future, I have no idea.

That is how this game works...There is two factions. Order & Chaos. You must pay $3.99 USD a month to use the chaos race.

anyone got some tips for me on how to win a match in stick empires alpha?

start out with three miners two minning one praying. then two swordwarth add three more miners one praying two minning then research miner wall and fast miner walk then passive gold all the way and buy castle archers then slowly build up your army.

what if they're going to rush you what's the best starting strategy there?

A good strategy....Depends on the map.
If you find yourself in a big green field, that's a massive map, build 1 archer and 1 miner. Then another miner, and a swordwraith. Then try to take the middle (only mining gold). Next, another miner and another swordwraith. Put the new miner on the statue and bring the swordwraith to the center. From there, you're on your own.

If you're on what looks like a castle wall, a very small map, do every the same from above, EXCEPT at the start. Instead of getting a miner and an archer, get a swordwraith and an archer.

No matter what, try to keep that middle....unless you're against me. Then just ragequit.

yes it is but theres a campaign, tutorial and practice
