This one got damn long. But I guess its fitting because every unit is expensive and powerful.
Six death rollers are simply blazing towards Germany's two huge mechs which stand on two feet, and their one spider-walker, clad in thick grey armor and bristling with weapons from its legs. It wears one huge gun on the top of the mech, above the crew cabins and turret stations. The land here is relatively flat, with the surrounding area peppered with mountains and rolling hills.
They're spotted from about a kilometer away, and Germany's forces organize into a small firing line. All three units fire their long ranged weapons. The mechs fire two mortars each, and the spider walker's main weapon is a cluster-bomb cannon, which breaks apart and spreads into at least fifty explosives.
Japan's units react. They morph triangle-shaped bumps along their entire exteriors, and as they keep spinning those bumps slam into the ground, throwing each unit high into the air.
They avoid most of the splash damage from Germany's barrage, although some units take direct hits from small explosives. Their damage is mostly superficial.
The units break up into groups. Two mediums head straight at the spider walker, and the four heavies split up to engage the two mechs. The two mediums pick up speed once again, and as the spider walker opens up with machine-gun fire, they morph ramps again, jump, and slam into the front legs of the walker in the shape of spiked wrecking balls.
It dents the legs heavily, and they distort enough so that they don't touch the ground as the walker walks across the ground. Their guns are jammed facing downwards, too.
But the other six legs still work just fine. Their weapons swivel to the death rollers imbedded in the spider walker's legs, and concentrate fire. The one taking the damage is shredded, and liquid metal spurts out of the death roller's shell for a bit, followed by gouts of blood. One is knocked out. The other medium retracts its spikes, and quickly begins trying to run circles around the thing.
Meanwhile, the four heavy rollers shoot past Germany's mediums, and before the mechs can turn around they stop, spout short tank barrels, and fire into the mech's sides. One falls over, sparks and steam spraying through the wounds, although it's not yet knocked out. The other takes the hits, keeps on turning, and fires a long-ranged mortar at one of the heavies. It misses by a few feet, sending it flying with part of its shell flattened, which slowly begins to expand again as the liquid metal shapes itself. The other retracts its gun and tries to move closer. It bears through machine-gun fire, spouts a gun right beneath the mech's cockpit, and fires. The upper half of this mech explodes, and topples to its side.
Two Japan heavies near the other fallen mech, ready to take it out, before Germany's spider walker turns some of its guns the other way. Torrents of machine-gun fire slam into the two heavies, and they scatter before the damage gets too bad.
A small explosion shows that Japan's other medium roller has been destroyed.
As the spider walker focuses its guns on three of Japan's heavies, they charge it. Thinking fast, the spider walker spits out torrents of flame as the Japanese units move closer, and they're blinded by the light. All three miss their target as they try to slam into the walker's legs, and shoot right through. The other legs continue to rain down machine-guns onto the heavies.
They bravely take the hits. The Japanese slow to a stop to sprout cannons, and fire three tank shots into the hull of the walker before moving again. The spider walker stumbles back a bit, and two of its legs can't catch the massive weight of the walker properly. The hulking thing falls over, and the hull smashes itself inwards as it hits the ground.
The last medium mech is finished off quickly.
Germany lost all its forces at X.
Japan has four heavies remaining.
The next day begins.
Britain gains $14,000
Israel gains $7,000
China gains $15,000
Russia gains $12,000
Japan gains $9,000
Germany gains $14,000
Points of interest:
-Israel and Britain are tearing each other apart. I wonder when a cease-fire will have to be given, so the two sides can recover? (Side note, cease-fires last three days, and
can not be broken. They can be initiated just by both sides agreeing to hold off on each other a bit.)
-The war between Japan and Germany will be expensive. Each side has very expensive units. A straight victory for one side will be a huge loss to the loser, so whoever scores the cleanest battles will easily come on top here.
-China is looking quite big and scary right now.
