been like this for several days and ive done like so much to try and fix it.

I tried that yesterday, it didnt work though.

But anyway, atm im more concerned over the canvas than the timeline..

changing the canvas size under "modify" doesn't do anything?

I'd suggest checking what's under "view" to see if it's unchecked but I assume that's one of the first things you did. I dunno, I'd mess with my copy of flash but I won't be at my home computer until Saturday.
