the thing is that people believe this because it was on the Mayan calender, BUT the Mayans never counted leap years so really it would be 2013 which means the world should have ended last year which it didn't so there you go.

yes because there's only been one leap year between now and when the mayans existed.

maybe he means they didn't count the extra day every leap year? And all of those add up to a year? idek

I think the archaeologists who worked out when the calender ended were smart enough to account for leap years.
