Wandering on facebook I've seen lots of people saying "Men are animals too, we must respect animals", all right for that. But then I've seen an image of a pyramid with a man on top and animals under him, and at the base the written "wrong"; next to the pyramid was a circle with men and animals inside, all at the same level, and the written "right". I thought: "Wtf? How can someone think that?".
That day, while talking with my friends, this argument came out, and with my great surprise I discovered that lots of them were agreed with this image, expecially girls. Only one of them was with me. I was saying: "What? You would put a man at the same level of a dog?" they said of course not, but then a girl said "I hate poachers, I would shoot them"
"Tell me, if you would see an hunter trying to kill a rare animal, and you would have a gun, obliged to kill one of them, who would you shoot at?"
"At the poacher" Oh. My. GOD! And others supported her!! So we are at this? We put animals before men?
They're ANIMALS holy shit! you can't talk to them! You're a man, not a cat!
Hope most of people aren't at her side.

Where's the problem in eating dogs? Why it's right for a cow and not for a dog?

dogs are pets . almost all the people love dogs you know (especially me).
they are not food like cows , ect.

Maybe for you, in India cows are sacred.

They aren't food because they aren't food? That's silly. Dogs *are* food if they're bred to be eaten. Insisting that dogs are any more special than any other non-human animal is pretty ridiculous, and doesn't have any real logic behind it. I would totally eat a dog.
Is it impossible to have a cow as a pet?

Uh, that's kind of a slippery slope.

You're asking if we'd rather end the life of a rare, endangered animal, or a man trying to kill it. Humans are overpopulated, I think I'd rather spare one asshole who's illegally poaching an endangered species instead of killing it myself.

That doesn't mean I "put animals before men". It just means the scenario you created has an obvious answer.

Poachers are people who kill animals. Homo sapiens are part of the animal kingdom, homocide is illegal, youre a poacher.
