View Profile Hey guys morning! (its morning 7:30 here xD)
So what does RHG battles mean to me?
For me RHG battles are just for fun =3 Cause thats what animation should be. To have fun.. I dont really care if I win or lose, losing doesnt mean your weak or a noob it only means the opponent is stronger which means you need to practice harder.. =3 And having an RHG battle is to have friends not to have enemies so you dont have to say rude or misbehave words on your opponent =3 right? ahaha
So thats alll.. Thats what RHG battles are for me.. How about you? =)

View Profile RHG battles are animators answer to almost anything, or animations in general XD
If you wanna give someone a B-day present= animation
If you wanna get somebody back= RHG battle/Rape anim
If you wanna test your skills=RHG battle
and on and on.
These are basically some of the things lol

View Profile RHG's are fucking stupid. Rock-Hard Gladiators? I sense sexual undertones.
Do you think you're cool for drawing a stick figure and creating a completely unoriginal character and tossing shitty stick figure animations back and forth with people? Oh, I'm sorry, your little super hardcore "battles."
Oh, I forgot, most of you are about 13 or younger.

I'm seventeen and I still think they're awesome. They're only lame if you don't put effort into it. Seeing two great animators put in effort for a competition is always good, and powers are only unoriginal if the animator picks something lame. Fluidanims was practically BUILT on rhg, and that feature has been moved here now. I don't really understand why you go to a site about stick figure animation, yet hate the main form of competition here.

Animation isn't necessarily all about competition.

What hugsta meant was the main form of competition, animation as a whole is not a competition but what he means is that RHG is the main form of the competition here. After the Merge that is.
@hugsta Some veteran SP users still come here out of habit and most probably boredom.

View Profile It's General Discussion. There are people with different opinions, who argue. If you can't accept any other point of view except your own, don't make a thread here. Seriously.
I used to like RHGs in 2006, 2007, and maybe in 2008. When animators like Phil, Stone, Geo, 0blivi0us, Jcamelo dominated this shit with their creativity. It was truly fun to watch and make.
Now, it's just dull - overused powers, simple backgrounds, quick texts, lack of the entertainment. However, I think it's still a good practice for beginners but nothing more. Make a step beyond.
