Noctura is just some fucking idiot who thinks that because he knows some big internet words that he sounds scary to you guys. I can assure you guys he's a harmless dumbfuck. At most if he does know ANYTHING, he'll try and DDoS the site, which will just take it down briefly, not because it's hacked, but because of how DDoS works is that is has loads of computers ask the site what the address is (or know as ping) enough times to lag it and make it clog up from the amount of traffic trying to access it. He's pretty much some first-day internet kid who just discovered the hidden-wiki, woo. Come at me Noctura.

No shit he's trolling, challenge him to actually do something like hack this website's banner and add his name and then pay his stupid bounty when you know he's serious. He's just all talk though.

We have actually gotten legit hacked before, not too long ago, which is why the forum was reset to 2010. I've been a bit cautious because it wouldn't be very nice to have that happen again. iirc the guys who hacked us last time seemed like a joke in the beginning too.

Regardless, you don't act afraid of hackers, what does that accomplish? You guys are doing the worst thing possible and are giving him attention, and if he's a troll, which he is, then you're giving him exactly what he wants already.

I already banned the fucker like 5 times, but then he hijacked someone's account. Banning that account would be fucking retarded— maybe not as much now, since I know he's not as reputable as I thought, but at the time it would've been. He would've taken someone else's account, or at least make yet another one himself. I wanted to finally hear what he wanted to say in detail, and in doing so, I learned a lot more about this. How am I acting afraid? There's a difference between fear and caution. I don't want to encourage him to fuck us over, and I don't want a single other user's account to be compromised.

Well you can volunteer my account to be hacked, I honestly don't think they're being hacked, but more of they're in on the plan as well. It would also make a lot more sense if they're just new accounts since that's a lot easier. Evading a ban is also possibly one of the easiest things you can do, since all you have to do is clear your cookies, reset your router and that clears any possible ban they could've had on your account. I'm saying the best course of action is to ignore this post and junk it or whatever since all he wants is attention, and if he really wants to work for it, there is nothing you can do about it. When I talked about acting afraid, I didn't mean you specifically, I meant the stickpage community. From what I've heard, the stickpage IRC is in quite a ruckus over this and so is the stickpage group on Facebook which is what I've been on this whole time. Thinking every hack threat is real is like the equivalent of thinking every threat from a 10 year old on Call of duty that he's going to bang your mom is what I'm trying to get at. If he's a true hacker, he'll hack my account on here and just break into the site. Jumping around hacking random accounts just means they're either in on the plan or they're his accounts. If he really could hack into any account, he would hack into an admin account and already be in control. Which the smartest thing to do then is put a banner at the top saying a demand he wants for the site and then he's actually a lot more likely to get the money. I suggest for you to challenge him on this, and you'll see he can't do this and that he's just an attention whore.

Also since you're mod, why don't you just check the access logs on the site to see if he's changing account passwords?

First of all, I logged into another account I have, error, and offered him my password in exchange for information. He allegedly asked his boss for permission, but was denied, because they have no use for more accounts. If you actually read this thread, you'd know that. Second, moderators can't see "access logs", whatever the fuck that means. Even when I was an admin here, and when I was a core admin on my vbulletin forum, there was no such feature.

He got into Nocturna's account because Nocturna had a very weak password, so it was really easy using his program. It takes a long time to decrypt peoples' passwords, so a short one would turn up quickly. He stopped at one, and I'd like it to stay that way. He demonstrated that he can actually do hacking related shit, which made me stop just auto-banning. I banned him even when he posted about how he would take down stickpage, because I had no reason to take him the least bit seriously. I don't believe he's the real Nocturna.

I did call him an attention whore as soon as he made this thread, but it's much more helpful to get more info and reduce potential damage than to risk shit needlessly.
