Something that's awesome to do is to easily speak to each other while playing games or browsing something together. One way to do that is with this neat program called Ventrilo. It's basically just a system that connects you to a server where multiple people talk to each other over mics. Best part is it's free. Here's the place you can install it:

However the downside is in order to manage and create a server, that actually costs money. So if anyone at all happens to know an empty server room (or actually has one of their own) it'd be awesome to connect up for us.

I've been using this for years, it's a neat simple program that has push to talk too, so it's way better than listening to kidkei's parents all day.

I'm pretty sure there are ways you can get your hands on free temporary servers if you look around enough too. That'd be neat though and I've suggested this to zetabrand already they just like skype too much ;(

I think the free ones allow up to 8 players in there at any one time.
