Hello Stickpagees,

I'm helping The Praetorian with marketing. They are an up and coming internet magazine that needs as much exposure as possible (or as they deserve).

They currently have 3 Issues released, with over 50 previous issues of content that is releasable week in and week out.

The owners of Stickpage have previously declined a Partnership with the Praet (Because it isn't animation-related, and they are completely right), but I'm still hoping that there is talent here as possible writers. Weather its releasing a video or article on how to create Stickamations, or an article on the political correctness of hate words, we will share it with the world as long as you took your time in making it an effective and quality piece. In return we can get your project, ideas or opinions out to a larger audience than any blog/forum could, as we will hopefully be pulling many readers in from different forums and locations in life, giving you a distinct and interesting review on whatever it is you decide to send us.

Read this for exact information on what we will and won't publish: http://praetorian.diplomunion.com/submit-an-article/

Some articles that I personally find enjoyable on the site are:

I'm truly trying to get this magazine off the ground and if you liked any of the articles please give us a like on Facebook THE PRAET ON FACEBOOK or follow us on Twitter THE PRAET ON TWITTER

If you think about why advertisements aren't allowed in the first place, it should seem obvious that this isn't anything worth deleting.

That said, it's hard to take this "Praetorian" thing seriously when it's being marketed by someone with poor grammar.

Agreed. Especially when you're trying to find good writers, of all people.

Which is why I asked for a reason from CNiper himself.

You're not getting it. Advertisements are removed because they're usually posted by people trying to sell something, using SP as advertising space for their own personal gain.

This is someone from a friendly community (remember this?) promoting their online magazine. They need writers, and some people here wouldn't mind the free publicity. It's a win-win.

I feel like I spend way too much time explaining how forum moderation works. This isn't difficult.

CNiper hasn't responded ever since. What's the point of this if he's not even providing an interface to work with here?

I know how to moderate. But this seems to have just been posted up and left there. Also no I must've missed that Diplomuniom thing.

Nobody's really asked him anything. He gave us plenty of information and the website has everything you need to know.

For some reason this whole time I thought your avatar was a bear.

And regardless, if he's the one introducing us and inviting us to it then it would make sense he be the active middle man for us. He even said himself he posted this because he's helping them market. Which most likely means there's something in it for him. If I see him actively discussing with us the benefits rather than throwing up one post with links, I'd be more convinced.

On diplomunion he's listed as the "assistant marketing director" of the site. I doubt he gets anything out of this besides helping a community he cares about. It probably also means he's on other forums doing something similar, which explains the inactivity.

There's not really a need for a middle-man either way, you just submit articles to the site, idk what you're expecting him to do for us.

We have writers who want an audience, they have an audience who needs writers. Like I said, win-win. But do whatever you want, I don't really care either way.

I've posted other stuff on Stickpage, but I've recently been busy (and as Exile previously stated, doing this on other forums too), and haven't had the time to check up on this again.

Exile basically explains my point though, nobody from the Praetorian staff get any reimbursements (monetary wise) from spreading the online magazine idea around, indeed it is supposed to be a win-win scenario (where we get articles, and you get exposure). We are basically doing this for fun, and would appreciate any videos, articles or etc you would like to share with perhaps a broader audience.

I'll be checking back in on Stickpage for the next week or so, so I can answer any direct questions you might have. Thank you for leaving this thread up, hopefully it has piqued the interest of at least a couple people out there!
