Finally! A thread for me! I'm in love with Hardcore and all its sub-genres and have been straight-edge since I was 14. Hardcore has given me alot of things other genres of music couldn't. Strength and a reason stand up for myself, never to back down, to abstain from leaning on a crutch but most important; that you don't have to care about anything nor anyone so long as you respect those who respect you. :)

Dag Nasty will forever remain a dear favorite of mine. I'm also a big fan of Descendents, Fugazi, Bad Religion, F-Minus, Minutemen, and Gang Green.
Recently, I've dipped into Ghost Mice and Andrew Jackson Jihad; I really enjoy Andrew Jackson Jihad.
