1 star? Piece of cake. 2 stars? Pretty simple stuff. 3 stars? Ok, that was hard. But 4 stars?

Ladies and gentlemen, help me speculate a way to get 4 stars and outrun the cops. This will give you one of the better acheivements in the game as well. NO CHEATS

Tried plans:
-Park a car in front of a helicopter. Engage in a shootout until you have 4 stars and then use the helicopter to escape. Status: FAILURE (will never work)
-Engage in a fire fight outside the trainstation. Fall back into the trainstation and eventually keep retreating until you're on the platform. Get on the train and gtfo. Status: FAILURE

-Untried plans:
-Park a motorcycle inside the metro system in the center island. Go back outside and get 4 stars by throwing grenades at cops. Fall back onto the motorcyle and drive through the tunnels to freedom. Status: Seems like my best plan yet.
-Steal a fast boat down by the docks. Park it and start a shootout with the police. Get for stars and use the boat to escape. Status: Seems like it might fail, especially since the police have boats.

Don't be a failure. We're going for the achievement here. Cheats would **** that up.

Also, this is one of those thing that is amazing if it can be done without cheats. If you outran a 6 star wanted level without cheats, then you would be a god.

hm i dont know but i found an easy way to survive for 5 minutes on 6 stars without any cheats, which is an achievement.

1. get a SHITLOAD of ammo for any machine gun
2. go to the hospital (dying is an easyway to get there since you get full health and dont lose ammo)
3. kill everyone in there until the cops show up
4. use the walls but the main entrance and just blind fire all the cops until you get 6 stars, then just keep camping the front door (this is the only way in the hospital, and helicopters cant get you)

Well there's also a much easier way to do it. Get in a helicopter, and go onto an island that is still all baricaded up. Once you cross it, you'll instantly have six stars. Just keep flying for 5 minutes. Occasionally a police helicopter or two will start shooting at you but other than that, nobody can really do anything to you.

We're really just talking about it generally. I'm sure someone without the game could think of something crazy (enough to work).

I see your point, whatever. It doesn't really matter.

Buy a sniper, steal a chopper, land on a building. Go on a killing spree to get your stars up, and take out any incoming choppers with the sniper. It's possible. If you have trouble hitting the pilot, go for the shooters on each side. They're completely open, and once both are down, the chopper flies away. And on top of the building you don't have to worry about any ground forces.

I've only tried this with cheats, but that was just to get the chopper and the sniper. I know you can steal/buy those, so it should be possible.

The motorcycle in the subway idea worked great. Just make sure to park your motorcycle right next to the train tracks for a quick escape. For the best results, kill all of the cops on the train platform first. They tend to come up and shoot you from behind if you don't kill them first.

edit: Just did it again, it's a flawless plan.

Flawless Victory?

Get a four star wanted level, then start a mission to get the achievement.

Get on the airport runway with a car, then get out. This will instantly give you a four star wanted level. Then, run or drive to the end of the runway to get the achievement.

I lasted 18 minutes with 6 stars and escaped.
