A different one. I was planning on submitting it for a contest, but I didn't finish on time.

Your style is so old school, I love it!
I love how you mixed in your style with that 3-d water effect, it looked really nice
other than that I'm too afraid to talk about because im not sure if it's your style, or a habit.

I tried doing how your animations look. Anyways, SO FUCKING SMOOTH and I can't get over the choppiness at the end. ;________;

Sorry for the bump, but I'm not done with this animation yet. I've been busy working on a kickstarter video for a friend. But I just got back to working on this and I can't seem to get the fire right. I tried making it look like the fire from the intro of Legend of Korra, but clearly I failed. C&C on the fire please ;-; I might just scrap the fire I have now and try again later.

Yay Theory you updated it! I've been like stalking this thread lol. I thought you might have quit.
Anyway the pose when he shoots the fire looks kind of odd. It might just be because it only a couple frames, I'll wait for you to add more before I make a final decision. The fire was good, maybe make it glow more but that's somewhat of a style preference. It looked too solid though. Anyway can't wait for water ;) Hopefully it's not to tough. If you need help there's an effects tutorial somewhere, he does a great water blast thing.
Here it is. It's an .fla but I found it really good.

lol thanks for the link. I've been playing around with a new style for fire and this is what I got: http://www.fileize.com/view/9d89c873-56d/
A lot more glow and i think the color seems right :D
The only problem I have is to make it look good on a white background
I think I might fix the pose too, it doesn't seem right..maybe if I add some more easing at the end though.

I think the gradient glow might help. What do you think?

That's really nice. I don't know if you did this on purpose, or will understand what I mean, but it looks more like a controlled fire than an uncontrolled one.

It's really cool seeing you improve ever so slightly throughout the entire animation :D and the fire looks orgasmic of course
