The year is 2022 and not much of the military still stands because in the year 2016 in Russia, a dictator rose above the Russian government and he brought the Soviet Union back to life, where they took full control over Russia. Soon he took over neighboring countries, forcing their armies to join them in their reign of terror. The UK stood up against the new enemies, but they didn't stand a chance against them. In the year 2017, almost the whole world was taken over by the Soviet Union. But not everyone was convinced to join the Soviet Union. Even though almost all of the military for the USA was destroyed, a group of soldiers stood up against them, and they are a group known as RIA, or Risking It All. Squad RIA is a group of brave and courageous soldiers that fight for nothing more than to save the world. Squad RIA was formed as part of the survivors that fought back and formed the rebellion. Four weapon manufacturing companies serve in the rebellion, Lynch, O'Reilly& O'Connor, Static, and Huntsman. In the year 2018, they began making weapons to help the rebellion and now they had a wide variety of weapons. After making sure they had all of the weapons they would need, Squad RIA sought out to destroy the Soviet Union and bring order back to America. And that is truly where the story begins...

Frederick had his rifle on his back in a backpack and Rob had his shotgun in one on his back too. The guns weighed them down, but that didn’t matter now. They both had a handgun and enough ammo and explosives to get them out of a bad enough situation, but neither wanted that.
As they turned a corner, a bright light shone towards them. The light was blinding and it was for sure brighter than the street light above them. Both of them moved back around the corner again and dashed away from the light. Frederick looked back but couldn’t see the light or the wielder of the light following them. Frederick and Rob slowed but still moved at a fast pace.
Frederick looked to Rob and realized that he had his handgun drawn and was holding it tight. Frederick disregarded it because if it was for the time it would take him to look through and find his handgun in the backpack, he would have it drawn too.
‘Heck, maybe it’s a good thing he is keeping his gun ready.’ Frederick thought. ‘But then again, maybe not...’
And Frederick was right about doubting it, because again, they had to go around a corner and a surprise was on the other size. It was another light, shining right in Frederick and Rob’s faces. Frederick brought his arm up to shield his eyes from the light and he turned and began to run. Frederick ran fast, now more prepared than before and he would get away this time for sure. He could hear a scream and beating behind him, and that was when he realized Rob wasn’t with him anymore. He stood still, unable to move. He didn’t know what to do because he had never run into a problem like this. He crept through the shadows beside the buildings and moved closer to where Rob was. He could see the shadows from the patrolmen and Rob.
The shadow was enough for Frederick. What he could see in the shadow was a man standing above someone on the ground and the standing man was armed with a handgun. Just as he was about to pull the trigger, Frederick rounded the corner and hit him in the nose with his elbow. The man stumbled back and Frederick kicked him in the chest. The man fell hard on the road. Frederick helped Rob up and they both thought of what they should do next.
‘First, we take the other patrolman.’ Rob thought.
The second patrolman pulled a small assault rifle up and aimed it at Rob’s head. Rob ducked fast and kicked the man hard on the knee. There was a crack and Rob thought the man must have broken a bone, but that wasn’t what it was. It was the first patrolman getting up and his handgun had hit the cement, making the sound.
Everything began happening so fast. The patrolman with the handgun began shooting and that alerted the nearby patrols. The second patrolman was trying to shoot them, especially Rob for some reason, and soon all of the noise had brought all of the patrol units from up to nearly a mile away. Rob and Frederick were surrounded.
Then Frederick saw a ladder and saw it as a way out of that death-hole. He pulled Rob by the collar and they dashed up the steel ladder. It was the fire escape for the building it was pushed against, but for them it was the enemy escape ladder. They moved fast up the ladder and made it to the top of the building in no time. Frederick pulled his rifle parts out of the backpack and began rebuilding it as they ran. Rob reached for his shotgun, but it wasn’t there. Then he remembered losing it when he was beaten by the patrol team. Instead he pulled out his O&O Mark II Handgun.
Soon Frederick had his rifle rebuilt and carried it as they ran. They jumped across from one building to another that seemed to have many crates on the top of it. Frederick positioned his rifle on one crate and began shooting the patrolmen as they came climbing up the ladder.
“What are you doing? Come on! Run while you can!” Rob yelled at Frederick.
“My duty is to protect and serve, and right now I am protecting you and serving my squad and the Rebellion, so you better be the one to run while I give our followers the surprise they deserve.” Frederick spoke back.
“But, you have to live! You’re the best sniper left in the Rebellion! You cannot die now!”
Frederick hesitated. “I’ll catch up with you, but you need to go now and I can hold off some more.”
Rob pulled up his handgun and began shooting them with Frederick.
“What are you doing?!” Frederick questioned.
“I’m helping you, because my duty is also to protect and serve, and you are the one I need to protect right now.” Rob answered.
“Have it your way...”
Frederick and Rob shot some more and then continued running across the rooftops. Eventually they came to a spot where it seemed no more enemies would be. They hid in the shadows and waited to make sure they were safe to continue.
“Would they really give up like that?” Rob asked.
Then it seemed they heard him because they answered his question. A chopper came around the buildings beside them and pointed its spotlight at them. Then the machine gun on the front of it began letting off rounds and shooting at Rob and Frederick.
