I like hardcore and electronic, so I take no offense. Keep the blood and the music flowing.

I suggest kid2will's songs from Newgrounds. a lot of people think they're too fast, but it would be cool to see an animation synchronized to this.

Not intended as that. I wanted to find more music like the one I originally posted and also see what music drives a person into animating.

Whenever I animate anything I play this in the background.

Not sure why.

I like to add some Linkin Park or hard rock music like that. 30 seconds to mars and Three Days Grace are good for animation music too.

Got 100+ songs on a playlist as well that I just put on when I want my musical motivation...

I just shuffle it to keep things different I guess. Still adding to it, and all this music everyone has posted I've really liked so far.

You want stuff which won't distract you too much. Personally I go for the first half of The Classical Conspiracy album by Epica. No lyrics to get in the way.

Of course, if you take too long and end up in the second half then you're listening to death metal. But that's just motivation to get on with the job.

Eh, it really depends on someones preference. I have a tendency to listen to dub step and speed up. It's just me.

I see a lot of animators though are into classical. I try to listen to it, I can. It's just when I animate I need to be pumped up I guess.

I mostly prefer non-vocal.
