I'm sad that I've lost your respect, truly am, but that's just the way I am, I self-criticize myself on every piece I do, I go through my work again and again and try to improve myself. I can't think highly of myself if I look back and see myself doing it better a year ago.
That's called being rusty, I know, but being rusty leaves a negative impact on me, and until I break the rust, I can't go around calling myself good. Hell, I can't go higher than 12 fps at the moment.
But I guess you're right, never should talk bad about yourself, there will always be someone else to do that for you.
