so, everybody says my animations are choppy. I noticed that most of the pros use 30 fps. And I thought of giving it a try

Higher fps =/= better animation.
It was good overall, but the movements were somewhat stiff, the reactions didn't have a lot of force in them...
and that run......It......didn't look right.

If you use a higher fps it wont fix choppyness. To fix it you need to either add more frames or ease. Just keep practicing :D
