First stick animation I ever watched was A Nice Day To Die by Henrik Hermans. I found it by accident on a tutorial site. I believe I was trying to learn PhotoShop. Then I saw the Castle Series and Killing Spree and that's how I found the style I liked. :D

One day, after not having internet or basic cable for 4 years, my dad decided to get internet for me, first site I saw was StickPage.com. I saw that 300 animation and RHG animations, later my friend told me he was the creators of those animations. I foolishly believed him and later found Pivot. Now I animate and hope to be like some of my favorite animators such as Cressel, Jojishi, Valtus etc.

I recently got flash 8, but haven't used for animating other the sprite animations and drawing.

Been watching and playing sticks movies/games when I was a child.
Was inspired by shock series and found a program called pivot.
I played with it making shitty anims which I think that was awesome back then.
Found out about flash and downloaded it.played with for weeks and started to learn to do stick animations.
Been animating for a year and some months now and still learning and improving.

A long time ago in a galaxy far far away... I was sitting at this lunch table with my friends going through apps on the marketplace. I found this one called stick fighter which allowed you to make really basic animations and I was like, "Oh my gosh my life is complete!" then I made a quick little animation about 5 seconds long and I showed my friend. Without any hesitation he told me it sucked and that he was better. I asked him if he had the app and he said no. He then introduced me to Pivot and showed me his animations, and they were as smooth as peanut butter. So then I started to get into using Pivot and before I knew it Pivot became like a lifestyle.

I cant truly determine when I began pivot animation, but I do remember that I began my first flash animation in a free program called "Live Swf" in July of 2009. However, time passed and I grew less interested and eventually I returned to pivot animation on Droidz.org. However, time passed, and I started to get the basics of pivot animation and began toying around with EZtoon, until I came across a thread on Droidz.org that showed Miccool's animations, this drew my interest a ton so I got Flash CS4 and began toying around. It wasn't until June of 2010 that I saw Jombo's animation called Abercity on Newgrounds, in which it introduced me to Fluidanims where I roamed and took part of on an alt account, and once I felt I was ready, I made a new account, "Kizunami" on November 2010.

I was searching Games in a random page, and I saw RHG Yoyo vs FLLFFL, my first reaction was: "Da heck is a FLLFFL", I watched it anyway, and then my mind just got blooowwwnnn, it was sooo amazing, I feel like I really need to know how to do those anims, I downloaded flash, and watching hyun's tutorials I learnt the basics, then I discovered FA (cus it's link was in every hyun's video), and I began a new life as an animator... Then I notice that there wasn't too many girls xD, but I keep goin as well

Here I am after 2 years, I can finally make some epic anims :D

I was taught how to use flash CS4 about 3 years ago as part of my collage course (I’d experimented with some stopmotion and serif draw animations before then). While I liked using it they only taught how to use the tools, not really how to create. I tried using CS5 on and off over the next year but couldn’t get back into it.

The next year (2010) I was at art collage, and struggling to keep up. Due to a lot of factors I ended up getting very severe depression (I won’t go into details; let’s just say it stopped me working). I ended up browsing the internet a lot, looking at a new site I’d found called Deviant art. About Jan I saw an animation by Supranova (his sword in the stone collab part) and was blown away, I never knew it was possible to animate so smooth. After watching everything he’d uploaded I noticed the reoccurring name “Fluidanims” so I visited the site and saw most notably Duel Death Course. From then on I was determined to try and be an animator.

I’m still trying and it’s still what I want to do. I’ll get there, one day (sorry if this came out sounding a bit bleak).

I began 4 days ago, why? Because, i love RHG and thought, this looks so awesome, now i have a new Hobby, asked my dad "Do you know Adobe Flash Pro CS6?"
And sure, he got it! :O
Then i began it looks so horrobly creeply, but now i get it a bit.. :)

Anime is what made me want to animate.
Before I came into flash, I had DSI flipnote and a pivot-like app for the android called "Stickfighter" after working with those two abit, I thought I had animating down enough, so I went looking.
I spent half my day looking on google, searching for good programs to make anime with not knowing how difficult animation really is.
Then one day I went searching for random stick figure fight as I've enjoyed some of those a few years back, but never found a decent one.
Then an animation came across to me, "One vs Many" by flyingpanda1990 AKA Hyun.
My story became similar to everyone else, I found out the program and joined FA, then moved here.
After several practices, and a decent understanding on how 2-D animation works, here I am.

I was with my friends in 2007 for a birthday party, and we were watching cool fights on youtube. We found this one fight called Xiao Xiao (anyone remember that?). After I left I really wanted to do something like Xiao Xiao, so I searched stick figure animation on the internet. I found pivot and the rest is history.

Around 2007, i saw xiao xiao and was really inspired. I wanted to know how to animate at the time, or what program to use. So, I started off with pivot, and my brother showed me Shock 1 and 2 and i was amazed. So, i searched terkoiz and saw a lot more of his animations and I was always amazed by his work, I loved every animation he's made and I wanted to try doing them. So, still using pivot, I tried making shock 1...THAT SHIT WAS HARD! I moved the bg and everything X.X Then I tried his "End" animation with Pivot, that didn't turn out too well either. I made a bunch of animations, and i got better with pivot, i started posting some on Darkdemon.org. Man, that site was fun, but then a couple years go by, and i was enjoying pivot, my skills were pretty good. My brother was really excited to show me this animation called "Yoyo vs FLLFFL" And i was like "Dafuq is FLLFFL?" He showed me it, and i was thinking "Hmm, it would be great to make a guy that uses a unique type of weapon." So, I searched more videos from Flyingpanda1990(aka. Hyun) And saw what an RHG system is. So, I wanted to know how to make an RHG, and i saw the site FA(That site was...WHOO! Something else...I loved it there...) and i made my first RHG: Skate. I got better a few months later watching tuts from Hyun and Terkoiz. I was thinking "I wanna be popular on FA one day" So I practiced my ass off and....yeah.......
