Once, there was this doctor around the 30's.He helped this woman give birth to a kid.later,he said the baby wasn't born right.later,it was found the baby couldn't eat.they brought him to the doctor once more.the doctor said the baby was born dead, but it wasn't.it was alive, bit it won't live.the doctor lied.for two or three weeks the baby remained alive.but it died after a few weeks.
So tell me,do parents deserve to know the truth?or should doctors keep it to them selves? Answer.

So the parents brought their child to a doctor and the doctor told them the baby had been dead this whole time.
If the parents believed him then they don't deserve pity.

Why would the people go to a doctor for an incorrect diagnosis? Might as well talk to a fortune teller.

I'm confused as to that last sentence. What do you mean, 'the parents deserve to know the truth'? They knew the truth already, even before the doctor told them the baby was born dead. The doctor was simply misinformed, he wasn't keeping anything to himself.

I think this story is very dubious; if they parents left the hospital with the kid, it's clear the kid wasn't dead. Where's your source for this??? Can we have a link??? Please put more effort into your posts.
ANYWAY: Onto the actual debate points:
Firstly, it's probable the doctor MISDIAGNOSED rather than lied; if he lied about such things, in a malicious fashion, its likely he would have his medical licence taken away. He'd be sued and fired at the least, in my opinion; such a thing is against the law, of course its the parents right to know! Doctors are supposed to tell you whats wrong (See why i'm having trouble believing this story is true? No doctor could be THAT incompetent as to declare a baby dead, when the parents were allowed to take it home. Furthermore, no parent would bring it back saying 'Durhurhur, this babyez isnsht deaded!"; they'd say 'It isn't dead' when the TOOK THE BLOODY BABY HOME!!!)
Of course on the flip side of this, I personally know a family whose son (he was only 6) had cancer. He'd been battling with it for several years, and it kept recurring. After a year or two of this, he went to the hospital for a last treatment. It was December, about 15 days before Christmas. Now, they took him home, and a day or so later the parents went to collect the results of the tests. The doctor greeted them, and told them the cancer was in remission, and after this many years battling it, it was almost entirely gone; the treatment had worked and the child was going to live!
They went home and spent and amazing, joy filled, lovely christmas together. It was a really happy few weeks and the entire family enjoy it.
January 3rd, they get a call from the hospital. The doctor calls them in, and she says that she didn't tell them the truth before; the cancer was in fact worse, and there was nothing else they could do; their son had only so long to live.
Now, according to her, all her colleagues were completely against her decision, and had said it was wrong. However, she thought it was the right thing to do. Having talked to the parents myself, the mother says she is incredibly grateful to the doctor for allowing them to have several weeks of joy, and not have their sons last christmas depressing and dismal. They were GLAD she didn't tell them.
So in some cases lying to a patient might be justified.
OF COURSE, in this case it was probably just incompetence (If its even true, which I highly doubt. LINK PLEASE?!?!) and resulted in neglect of treatment (I still don't believe it sorry. It's stuff like this that makes me call you a troll) in which case its immoral.
Just my two cents.

It was a couple years ago now, but still a sad story.
ANYWAY: he said the baby was dead, the parents took the baby home, brought it back saying 'Durhurhur, this babyez isnsht deaded!"? So not true. Link?

I once watched a show where the Doctor was operating on an old Asian woman. The Person at the waiting lounge who was at the table (forgive me for sounding stupid for not remembering the correct name or term for that job) kept going to the operating room to warn the Doctor about the growing amount of family and friends arriving. The doctor was to busy to care and at the end the old woman died. When the doctor went to tell the family and friends about her passing he was met with 20 pairs of eyes staring at him.He was so shocked that he lied and said they were doing there best to keep her alive.Later he found a more subtle way of breaking it to the family.
What you think? A better story than that one up there.
