The reason they would "sleep on this idea" is more to the fact that there hasn't been a major update in over a year. ANY update is really a luxury. That's not really a good argument, and you aren't helping.
Let's give the scenario of a glitch where arrows missed airs based on position in the sky. An update fixed that. It was needed. Necessity. Not enough armory items or in this case, V's too difficult to control mid fight. Luxury. There's a difference. If I'm not helping than what are you doing?
As for skele, 248 is when I popped up to discuss the original subject at hand and yet people feel the need to add their two cents to what I say specifically yet contribute nothing towards the subject and have the gall to tell me I'm not helping.
My original goal when it came to responding to your suggestion is to bring to your attention that this is not something that is worth the attention and development time of the devs to adjust for your own luxury. Hell if I had it my way, I'd have archers auto-kite whilst being commanded to move. The second point was that even if it were to become a thing (which it may or may not) it would be much more difficult as opposed to becoming used to the mouse only method which saves your hands whatever amount of time it takes to move from the mouse to the keyboard to the mouse again only to press the G key in the end of it as you won't be attacking with the V's themselves unless you want them to die. Splitting allows you to use the h command to hold at the safe distance, control your scorps and clones to prioritize any one unit for the time being and manually click each V to possess a unit of your choice. Now you have your clones and scorps (and possibly charrogs) attacking, your fires supporting, and your V's all selecting specific units. If an enemy unit rushes to your V you can single select and move that V away should it be in danger and garrison, tele, or manually move away (you should generally have waters accompanying to force your opponent to make a decision.) By moving only one V as it is targeted you maintain your positioning as if your opponent chooses to target something else he will be punished swiftly by your other V's that are still ready to go. By mass selecting them with the ctrl+9 method you are ruining your own positioning and will not be able to tele punish effectively.
Again, the point of my argument is to let you know that the method you will be trying to use is flawed and is not the proper method of micro for the V. The one luxury it brings is accompanied by several other issues that you will see regardless of if you get this change, and THAT is why The devs are unlikely to pay this mind. It was already blatantly obvious that they won't update it if they are busy with other tasks.
Back to Rain:
Youre basically saying that they won't pay it mind because they haven't touched the game. I don't believe you are a dev as far as I can tell and that would mean that you could not say for certain whether or not they come here simply because they haven't been over there. There is not here. Nor is here, There.
Rant:
I'm beginning to see why people don't hang around this section as much now. Nothing personal towards any of you guys. I respect each and every one of you. Sometimes, however, y'all need to take a second and gather all of the information for its contextual value and not just respond based upon your own biased way of thinking. The beauty of forums is that it allows information to be shared whilst simultaneously building a community of Internet goers. Coming in to a forum only to post something that has no merit or is logically flawed is quite a waste of time for them and others.
