If a teacher was assigning a class their homework, they wouldn't make 5 projects due in quick succession. They finish one project, and move on to the next topic/project. Patience.

Your analogy is flawed because this is exactly what happens. Anyway, so you know that the devs do actually come hear and read up on our suggestions?

I think both of your definitions of "projects" differ.

Check and add to the list of things they plan to do after they finish legacy and SW3.
Good guess though.

Actually, I was talking to CJ, and maybe not, but he said that they would do an SE update after SWL but before SW3

Well if they actually read what we post, then it should be a wake up call.

It's easy to understand that they're working on many different projects but it's the developers job to keep the game from running out of flavor.

Interesting. I don't think SW3 would be too hard to make though, maybe a couple weeks or so. We'll see.

It took more than 8 months to develop SW2 campaign. If they polish the game well, which I should hope they do, they will take about the same, maybe more.

Do you think this way due in part by the fact that they hadn't fully developed the idea of the maps and other such details to put into sw2? Perhaps now, since they have everything already made to go off of, they will take a bit less time.

SW2 was released well after the beta of Stick Empires. They had all the assets.

Winston makes the maps. Not CJ.

Day 5 - Winston joins the party

Today Winston started on the backgrounds and blew us all away with some amazing concepts. And is already working on the Hud!

Its tought to see just how nice it is with a still shot se we might post a video soon, as the backgrounds have several layers that all move slightly.

Not saying CJ didn't do something, I'm just going from what the dev blog says.

SW3 timeline should take before SW2 like maybe we will play against eles and capturing them. If eles apear in SW3 it would be kinda difficult to make AI for combinations and maybe we'll see annoying blind gate.

I think it will take place before SW2. Chaos vs ele first, and then the order empire fights chaos.

Giving Order early access to splash damage could be interesting. It could maybe be a replacement for fire arrows, though it would have to have a very small AoE, lower damage and no burn.

Moving back on topic

Ah perhaps the burn effect could act as the splash damage but the burn DoT would become near instant (like really near instant not bomber style)?

However this alone to Order would not help with the whole making Order vs Order less about archers. I guess rage splash and research buff would counteract tho.
