That's not a very compelling reason, he still has his own choice on what to do, the results of what he does depend entirely on him, no matter how good they are.

I never said he didn't have a choice, and the post wasn't meant for you. Im saying that he's jumping into stuff too quickly. It's like applying for a job at pixar, and you have only ever made 1 animation ever. Do you think you would get the job? Just in case you dont know, no.

It also sounds like a group of children not letting another kid play a game with them because he's new to the game.
I do understand your point, but they'll eventually learn themselves and improve.
Just let the kid do what he wants, no matter how bad you think it is.
It is not harming you in anyway.

I like the idea. Adding filter effects to the smoke would add an entirely new dimension to the animation.
