Hey guys, I know u knew already that the philippines has another law that was implemented.
And that law is the CYBERCRIME LAW.....

what can u say about this?...or what is your reaction about cybercrime law...do people need to protest?
Is it good to support the implementation of cybercrime law or not?....

In your own opinion...what do u think the advantage and disadvantage of this law?

Man.... I just can't be agreed with anything of these rules and laws, about downloading unauthorized stuffs.

If I BUY a song and then I want to share it with someone else, i can't do it, cus acording to the law everyone must pay for their "part", isn't that song "mine" in the aspect that I can use it however I want?. It's like if I buy a bubblegum and then I want to share it with someone else, I can't cus he/she has to buy it

>:I it really pisses me off

In every aspect of our lives, every companie is always trying to take more and more money from us, literally, the only place where we are free to share/express ourselves loosely it's the Internet, and now the want to take that from us, I know that copyright and stuffs like that must be respected but... Measures like have a posibility of get in the jail just because u shared a link it seems completely unfair to me

except, that one bubblegum pack doesn't duplicate pieces of gum. you buy a 5 pack of gum, you only have 5 pieces of gum to either eat or give away. if you could just duplicate the gum, and give it to your friends when they have a gum hankerin, well, i don't think mr. wrigley would like that very much. your friends would never need to buy their own gum, because of your magical gum device

with digital music, you have unlimited copies of an mp3, which could be given to everyone on the internet in a simple few clicks.

hahaha....yeah..that's why people here in the philippines have encounter another crisis about this cybercrime law...
it also begin again a big fight between people of the philippines vs. the government.
and it's not only a crybercrime..it's cyber martial law..
the authorized person of it are very strict. even we only like a comment of a friend that's not offensive to the government the authorized person still gave a warrant of arrest through notification in facebook.

we don't really understand why our country called democratic if we don't have any freedom of speech at all.
tsk.

Filipinos are overreacting and making up stories. The law states to be responsible to credit the person/artist. Filipinos are funny

Filipinos are making all their profile pictures on Facebook because they think it's a good form of protest.
Anon Philippines think hacking government websites is a good form of protest.
Philippine senators signed the law.
Filipinos voted for those senators.
The Philippines president's parents played a very big role for our freedom.

The poor part of phillipines must've voted for yes.
So that they can say to rich part of the country "Feel our wrath."

Yep, I'm a Filipino too but did you know that we have a more powerful ally? The loosely associated hacktivist group who shut down the Government's Computer. Don't you remember it in the news?
Clue: They hate internet censorship...
