The military really jaded my view towards women, and although it's borderline unhealthy, it made me realize a lot of things about women. They're much more insecure than you'd think, and the minute they sense that insecurity in you, they move on. Just be confident and chill, and they'll like you.

Don't show your insecurities initially to them. Only once you two become close and comfortable with each other. Else they'll think you reveal your inner self to just any girl/guy and that will make them no longer feel like they hold value to you.
