Ok so some of you may or may have not watched the debate tonight President back obama vs mitt romney
to be honest i really dont like both of them to rule our country but in my eyes obama seems like the most aproppieate person to rule our country for the next four years till some one better comes and takes hes spot , reason why im picking obama over mitt romney ? you may ask your selfs. well its because he's more "steady" about the things he says.
compare to mitt romney i really lost my trust on him because he already lied so many times , he keeps changing he's mind over and over and i just really dont wanna have president that changes he's mind alot .
please don't comment rude stuff like " YOU OBAMA LOVING FAGGOT " or such .im just interested in what you guys think.
Presidential debate for america.

So is anyone here actually capable of discussing politics?

I guess I could, but I'm not old enough to vote so my opinion really doesn't matter too much until the next election.

You could convince someone with opposing views not to vote. That's kind of like voting yourself.

That would require me to talk to people and I don't want to

Don't know much about American politics. What I can tell you is that I'd be weary of voting for anyone who was a Mormon missionary.

I'm kind of surprised at the lack of enthusiasm for this thread..... I figured everyone on here had intense opinions about everything, judging by the religion-related posts.
Anyways, while I'm not particularly keen on either of the candidates proposed, I personally feel that Romney is a bit more qualified for the job. While he can't seem to keep his social stances straight, I really like the ideas he has proposed regarding America's fiscal issues. And while I'm not strictly against Obama (I really do like many of the stances he has adopted concerning social equality) I feel he has not proved himself horribly capable of 'stopping the bleeding' that is American deficit spending. I'd rather you make me a promise, and admit you couldn't keep it, than make me a promise, fail to keep it, and still insist that you did.
Please, feel free to argue against anything I've presented thus far. Belief is only proved when you understand why you believe what you believe.

I would be more enthusiastic if I lived in America and knew more about their political system and their candidates. I'd probably have to say, based on the very limited knowledge I have, I may prefer Mitt Romney due to his economic values and the unreliability of Obama that we've seen in the past presidency. However, Romney's attitude towards things, as far as I'm aware, seems to change so fucking much. That, and he's a Mormon. Really, it's difficult to choose between two flawed personas. If I was actually going to vote in the US, I would definitely vote for a Libertarian candidate of the Libertarian party. Either that, or Ron Paul (who is particularly libertarian but now resides in the Republican party).
