The Swordwrath (it sounds weird reading swordwrath over and over again) attempts to go in for a stab, but his sword is knocked straight up into the air as the spearton smashes it off his hand. The spearton then catches the blade (assuming his shield is strapped to his arm, not held. Otherwise this won't work :/) and finishes the swordswrath off.

...You know, considering how stick empires can go away from its mood a little with the football spearton equipment, I could imagine some of the funny stuff above happening at a low chance =P. Here's my stupid idea:
The spearton yells, "THIS, IS, SPEARTOOOOOOOON!" (with lots of dramatic effects and an aura flying about him), and...he misses his kick and ends up having to punch the swordswrath dead after an awkward pause.

Also, since the player's usually focused on forming the best strategy instead of trying to watch the finishing move through a cluster of stickmen, it would be cool if the finishing move appeared in a sort of killcam at the corner, with other troops in the killcam slightly faded out.

have the Swordwrath try to jab him with the sword, but then have his hand get cut off by the speartons`s spear. then have words of above the spearton saying "im your father" then have the spearton spear the swordwrath in the face witch he then drops dead

or just have that where he does not say im your father.

The spearton took a step forward,at the same time,he bashes his shield to the swordwrath and charged his spear into swordwrath's head and the spear came out in the other side of swordwrath's head, swordwrath died because of blood loss and shock.

Can we suggest other finishers besides just spearton and swordswrath? I bet there's lots of ideas floating out there, here's mine (assuming all giants are max size):
Winner-Loser
Spearton-Swordswrath: The swordswrath attempts to stab the spearton, only for the spearton to bash his sword off. As the sword flies in the air, the spearton bashes the swordswrath to the ground and lets the swordswrath get beheaded by his own flying sword.

EGiant-EGiant: The winner pulls a boulder out of the basket behind him and uses it like a bowling ball to knock the other EGiant over (the boulder continues on into the enemies base hurting no one, but if you camera happens to be where it exits, you hear it smashing over stuff with funny sound effects), then pulls out another boulder to smash his skull in.

Shinobi-Meric: The Shinobi uses his pole to knock the Meric's weapon out of his hand, jabs at his feet to knock him down, and then cuts his head off with the pole and staff.

Miner-Swordswrath: The miner knocks the swordswrath onto the ground with his pickaxe, then swings his bag over and crushes the swordswrath with the bag's weight.

Swordswrath-Archidon: The swordswrath slices the archidon's bow in half, picks up both ends while dropping his sword, and strangles the archidon as he's trying to run away using the bow string hitman style, where he then picks up his sword again.

Magikill-Giant or EGiant (through poison): The magikill casts another poison spell, but it turns the giant ridiculously tiny, where he then blasts the giant into oblivion with a fireball. If the giant is at point blank range, the magikill simply crushes him with his staff like a bug (in a humorous way).

Meric-Giant: The meric heals the soldier the giant is carrying to undeadness, where the undead soldier then jumps onto the giant's head and dissolves into acid, melting the giant with him.

Shinobi-EGiant: The shinobi uses his pole to expertly climb up the giant as he struggles to knock him off. The shinobi then cuts off the straps of the basket with a swipe of his staff, and leaps off the EGiant's head, causing him to fall and crush his body on the boulders.

Swordswrath-Miner: The swordswrath slams his foot on the miner's foot, and pins his head to the ground with his sword when he bends over from the pain.

Funny Finishers (low chance):
Miner-EGiant: The miner drops his bag, dramatically transforms into a monstrous demon as big as the EGiant, and melts the EGiant to death with a massive inferno. He then transforms back into a miner, picks up his bag, and acts like nothing ever happened.

Archidon-Swordswrath (point blank): The swordswrath pulls off an impressive string of sword swings to show off, and when he finishes, the archidon pulls out a pistol, shoots him, and puts his pistol away to continue sniping with his bow.

Spearton-Swordswrath: The Spearton yells dramatically, "THIS, IS, ORDEEEEEEEEER!" A pit opens up behind the swordswrath, and the spearton kicks him in.

I doubt it will happen but I like it! :D
But the miner and meric part may work. :D

Also I think Spearton really needs an animation for balance in the game cause dark knight has a disadvantage taking time to kill a puny swordwrath as archidons shoot him. Maybe spearton should at least use his sword during the 'duel' just like the trailer or the old stick war.

the knight take no damage during finisher move. i will take that as disadvantage for the troop fighting them since they attack at nothihng while still being damage by other units.

Archidon/Crossbowmen: Accurate shot that directly pierces their head.

Swordwrath: Stab upward and dig the blade inward.

Spearton: Takes the shield and bashes the enemy over the head with it, and then followed by a second time to be sure.

Marrowkai: Opens a hole under the enemies ground, and a group of those little guys from the first game drag that unit down.

Enslaved Giant: Takes a boulder and directly drops it on top of a unit and picks it back up, that unit still stuck to it.

Crawler: It rips off a chunk of the enemies leg and then tackle/bites the enemy.

Crawler 2: It runs up and slashes part of the enemies face off.

Medusa: Multiple snakes grab the unit, holding it down as other snakes spew acid onto the unit.

Ninja: (From Behind) Kicks the unit, brining it to their knees and cuts it's head off.

(Regular) Giant: Stomps on the unit, and wipes their blood on the floor.

Swordwrath: (While enraged) Cuts downward, completely slicing the enemy in half.

Miner: Butt-heads (Hit with handle) the enemy unit and tosses them into their bag and continues mining.

Miner 2: Same animation as if they were normally mining.

Bomber: Jumps and holds onto the enemy unit, exploding, leaving the enemies legs moving back and fourth until they eventually drop.

Spearton/Swordwrath/Juggerknight: (To Bomber) Takes one of the bombers dynamite, shoves it into it's mouth and punt kicks the unit as it explodes in mid-air leaving fireworks.

IMO, the unusual (and better-looking) finishers should go to the weaker units. For example, someone who uses a miner to kill a giant should get a really sweet animation (maybe of the miner choking the giant with the bag?). This will encourage players to kill in different ways.

As for the spearton, do something simple, since it's already strong. Maybe the spearton knocking the enemy to the ground with the shield, jumping up, and coming down impaling the enemy. (spartan style!)

These two are not bad, the assasination thing seams like something the ninja would do but ill think about it. Also the pit thing seams quite evil and magiacal so maybe if this is a rare duel so there are not pits opening up all the time.

The reason I would not consider some of the others is because, some of them are so rare to happen - Its ussually the Speartons/Swordwrath/Archers ect, doing the final hits which lead to the duels.

Spearton stabs the enemy in the heart with his sword, puts him in the air, and throws him.

The spearton throws his sword to the swordsrath's chest, as the swordrath is on his knees, he quickly falls down (on his front), where the spears tip gets pushed up his body. The spearton then takes out his secondary weapon (like the first game)
